Even with cerebral palsy, I have found safely adding extra ROM, or simply allowing my neurological adaptations to take my muscles to a full range of motion has given me not only greater strength but better flexibility. I like the capacity to have your range of motion, but I can come pretty close even with my spasticity. It is interesting how uneducated the average gymgoer would be.

Will you ever peak to top end strength hitting singles on more conventional lifts again? Just think it would be pretty cool seeing how much stronger you got on this type of metrics with the amount of mass you built through these years

If I'm being 100% honest, probably not. I just don't have the intrinsic desire or interest at this point.

You're going deep with heavy ass weight as well that's very impressive brother

Thank you sir 🤝

Zercher RDLs actually open the range up a lot as well, im sacrificing grip gains for more hamstring gains by doing that though
@EnkiriEliteАй бұрын
Interesting idea! I'll give them a shot and see how they feel.

I just started working these in as well. I can't deadlift inside during the winter, so I figured why not 🤷🏻♂️

As long as you’re also doing Pull ups or rows strap less your grip strength should be fine.

Currently im at a modest 345x3 for deficit SLDLs, but when i train them i 100% feel everything i need to

Dude that back wtf
@floridaman8136Ай бұрын
These would also be incredibly fatiguing, wouldn't they? How do you implement them into your routine?

How tall is that platfrom? I need to build one.

Sumo RDL similar to good morning?

Well if I keep my chest up, then I don't even touch the floor with my dumbbells at the end point haha

Isn’t more rom going to make your lower back round?
@EnkiriEliteАй бұрын
always a possibility
@BenEnlet29Ай бұрын
Nothing wrong with rounding the back a bit. Putting your muscles and spine into difficult positions under load actually streghthens your back and helps prevent injury. If you don't over do it and be safe with it it can be beneficial

Alec when i do pull ups focusing on my back they are really hard. I get to eyes to the bar but to get my chin over i use my biceps. The biceps part is really easy. My form is really good. Is there a problem or is this normal?
@wotanjugend974Ай бұрын
Eyes to bar is all you need to build your back

Which SBD knee sleeves do you use? 5mm? 7mm original? Newer 7mm powerlifting ones?
@EnkiriEliteАй бұрын
The OG's. I bought these sleeves back in 2015. Probably time for a new pair lol.
@DeePat-gd5soАй бұрын
Do you do lunges or split squats with the sleeves or do they restrict mobility too much for those movements?
@andresruvalАй бұрын
This may sound glassbackish, but I'm genuinely curious, how do you prevent the bar from rolling down your head when you go below parallel torso on good mornings? 😅 I'm still working towards that ROM but with an SSB.
@scottpope6210Ай бұрын
Yikes! Very impressive, l like doing these, but a tiny bit goes a long ways. Maybe 15 percent of the time, they are way too addictive........,
@imitatsiyaАй бұрын
one of the few good takes that Mike Israetel has made in recent history was his definition of mobility. tl;dr version is that mobility is flexibility under load
