For me generally it differ from a place to place how docs and pharmacist perceive eachothers In my place generally doc and society look down other health professions in a way it became part of your job to treat docs differently and somehow landed nurses to be at the bottom of that hierarchy which i find weird considering everyone contributes to the team alot So seeing other places thats even slightly better at respecting other health professions, feels good

I agree! I think absolutely everyone should be respected in all professions regardless!

Can you do a video about career progression as a hospital pharmacist? And can you do a video on why you chose pharmacy over medicine and reasons to choose pharmacy over other healthcare proffesions.

Yes, this is such a good suggestion. I would like Regina to talk about the foundation program provided by RPS, prescribing course, diploma, clinical pharmacy course offered by Manchester uni or Brighton etc. I would like to know about these things so that I can set goals early on in my career and not wait too long to progress.

@@patiepromise8190 I appreciate your suggestions but I only make videos on things I truly have experience of or know about! I haven't done the foundation RPS course and I only have experience of the UCL diploma, so that's what my videos will be about generally xxx

KOREginA London Pharmacist But please make a video about why you chose pharmacy and the best parts about the job that you love! And also maybe why you specialized in the area that you did (clinical right?) rather than go into industry, retail etc.

Great video! I do find it weird that you make a clear differentiation between pharmacist (and dentist) and doctor? As a PharmD, do you not go by doctor at your job? I work at as oncology pharmacist even the oncology fellows will call me doc. Maybe it’s a cultural thing?

Not in the UK! Where do you practise?

this is a super late response but in the UK the pharmacy degree is MPharm, a master's degree! so you don't get a doctor title :'(

@@pxlpup also physicians in the UK graduate in «MBChB degree» NOT «MD degree» so shouldn't be called a doctor too.
