We recently rescued a female 4yrs old and she was used in a puppy mill. She doesn't like cats or little kids, she growls. We're trying to fix this but it's been 6 weeks and is getting better. We have 2 other dogs at home. It's a struggle but she cuddles up with me and my older kids and wife. I HOPE she will break this and live happily ever after..

@@Shadowballs12 same really.. she doesn't like my 5yr old son still and yesterday on our walk she scared a rabbit and pulled hard after it but I just turned around and got her mind off of it.. it's a work in progress still

@@macwiller2105 she'll get better, bulldogs are real stubborn as I'm sure you know. Hopefully it all gets better

Bulldogs seem like lovely dogs, but I feel so bad for them. It must be hard always having trouble breathing, though I guess they don’t know otherwise. I was wondering what your thoughts are on adding a bit of diversity into the breed to make them a bit less brachiphillic? It almost seems unethical to leave the breed the way it is.
