What kind of dater are you? Fast and impulsive like Ron / Hugo or slow and calculating like Sean?
@juztina73462 ай бұрын
like sean. exactly what he said, if i had sex the first date meaning i dont see that guy in a long run....
@stewartdorward65262 ай бұрын
With my husband, we waited 6 months before we had sex because I felt there could be more than just a hook up or sex friend. But, on the first date I asked him what he was looking for and he said, ‘Someone to introduce to his mother’ - he had me at that point.
@jamesquivey15382 ай бұрын
If I had a first date be so rude to ask, "What do you want?", my reply would be, "to leave". First dates are about sharing and learning. It's about getting to know each other. How can I say this guy is right if I know nothing about him? If the date goes really well and there is obvious emotional chemistry, why not take it back to the hotel to try out the physical? If both are great, then follow up another date to see where it leads. An open mind and open heart will lead us where we need to go.

Thank you for your comment! We believe Sean referred to the "first few dates," rather than just the very first date. Some gays on dating apps may already be in relationships and are simply seeking friendships, while others may only be looking for fun. We hope this provides some clarity!

They feature two gay guys that come from pretty much the stereotypical gay social life, the shallowness is expected.

It doesn't matter if you get into relationship too fast. You're gonna learn about the person truly once you get into the relationship anyway. The longer you prolong, you'll never learn.

To be honest this is not about dating and long term relationships in the gay community but merely about the culture of hookups and casual sex in the community. The host should be clear about the parameters of the topic especially when both guests were introduced as being in stable relationships. Instead ‘dating’ is diluted with hookups/ons preferences and experiences. Dick shaming and voice shaming ain’t helping either and only highlights the worst of gay culture imo 🤷🏻♂️.
@kzm9741Ай бұрын
Exactly. If you need sex on a first date (more so a good one), you are not even looking for a proper relationship. FWB at best. This is why the best normal and healthy gays do not go to gays/bars clubs often or are even on Grindr.
@peterw68313 күн бұрын
Subjects can transcend across many related topics, but I agree that Sean could have remembered to bring the conversation back to the core issue a little better. This was a fluid and natural conversation though, so I appreciate the organic-ness of the video 🤗

Interesting topic, actually, it's kind of summarized most of the dating scene today. the impulsive like Ron, The follow the flow Hugo , and the anxiety overthinker Sean. I'm a little like sean, I usually think of everything , when it hasn't even begun. My friend said, one word, just let it happen, it's not that bad. .....I'm trying to,

I think Hugo was just being frank about his preference. Some like muscular, some like chubs. Some like tall, some like shorter. Some like chatterbox, some prefer silent types. Not Everything is about discrimination.

The host has confused dating with hook-ups ( one night stands ). Hugo is so frank & funny. Ron is good looking & attractive. No shortage of admirers.

I agree sex is important. But is it so important that the relationship is all about sex and nothing else ? No wonder I observe many of my Gay friends are rather promiscuous and they find it hard to maintain a relationship. Is it not possible for gays to see the other partner and the relationship more beyond SEX.
