Using top-up packages, can you keep a Discover+ eSIM for more than a year? If so, do you maintain the same (US) phone number?

Hi! Absolutely! Our Discover+ Global eSIMs come with a US-based phone number (+1). After making the purchase, you can find the new phone number attached to your eSIM by going to Airalo app -> My eSIMs and locating the desired eSIM. In the upper left corner, the dedicated phone number will be shown.

Hi can I use my Australian phone number if I buy the United States data + phone number eSIM or will I have to get a US number?

Hi there! Please note that the Change+ eSIM comes with its own US phone number for calls/texts, it is not possible to set a phone number for it. If you wish to use your primary line for calls and texts, you have to keep the primary line enabled and selected as the default voice line. In case of the airalo data/call/text plan....if i share my internet connection (hotspot/wifi tethering) from a phone with the airalo eSIM, can i make calls from the same phone at the same time without interrupting the tethering?

In Costa Rica, do I use my Canadian cel number or do I get a new phone number? Can I get both text and voice for Costa Rica?

If I purchase a United Kingdom data/calls/text plan, will the number provided be a UK number (+44)?

Hi Johanna! Yes, the Uki Mobile+ phone number is associated with a UK country code (+44). You can use the phone number for local calls and texts in the United Kingdom; international calls and texts are not supported.

If you get the discover plus you get a phone number... but will it allow for incoming calls and txt on your current mobile phone number?

Adding the appropriate country code when sharing your eSIM phone number ensures seamless communication. You will still be able to use your primary line, but this might incur roaming charges. Hello, If i get a phone number after subscribing to a package, how long does that phone number stay with me? Will i get a different phone number every time if i buy packages after gaps?

Hello there! Please note that each data/voice/call eSIM comes with its own phone number. If the eSIM has an available top-up, you can just top-up instead of purchasing a new eSIM so you can continue using the phone number. If there are no top-up options, you have to purchase a new eSIM and it will come a phone number. I live in California, USA. I am planning to travel to Vietnam in a couple months. If I choose Data/Call/Text plan (Global ESim) will I get a Vietnamese Phone Number? Since I have Verizon plan, I just wander if Verizon will charge the roaming fee for using my primary phone line. Thank you

Hi @danhvang1310 Thank you for your interest in our eSIM. Unfortunately, you won't get a Vietnamese number when purchasing the Discover+ eSIM. For now, the eSIM comes with a US-based number (+1). For your other question, we highly suggest our users disable the Primary SIM to avoid roaming charges from their home carrier. We hope this information helps. Thank you Airalo team for the rely info. So if I purchase global ESim data only, can I contact via text or internet with the hotel or Uber, Grab using whatsApp when landing in Vietnam. Thanks again.
