It felt so amazing to finally be listened to and validated by a doctor. I wish all doctors could spend this much time with their patients. So many people are misdiagnosed every year and this can have a massive impact on their treatment and quality of life. I am so grateful and hopeful that I am now on the right path, it's taken almost 5 years but it now feels like things are actually beginning to make so much more sense now. It's going to be a long journey but your support means everything to me ❤️🥰
Also thanks so much to Bob for coming on her day off and my amazing mum, who is battling her own health struggles at the moment ❤️❤️❤️
xoxo

I've been diagnosed with FND (my symptoms are like paralysis from my waist down but it changes hour to hour/day to day(I'm a wheelchairuser)) but I'm sure there's something else going on too. The symptoms really make me feel like I'm losing it! I'm so glad you've managed to get some validation and some more information🙂 hope you're recovering well from your surgery ❤

I refer to that kind of drunken tiredness as my overtired toddler stage. I have the zoomies but brain, mouth and limbs don’t talk to each other so I slur my words and walk into things. Constantly covered in bruising because of it!

I am so glad ur getting Awnser Amy London is so busy as well I was misdiagnosed with fnd 3 years again akd I think the thing is that disturbs don’t know enough about fnd so they just give out the diagnoses without doing proper test but it looks like your future is beginning to make a lot more sense now I love your makeup and dress btw love your KZbin videos ❤️❤️🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Spoon Theory, ( a way of describing chronic fatigue/ pain, often connected to neurological and autoimmune conditions). Best wishes in the search for information and strategies to function and fashion a life that includes comfort when you have low energy. Safe travels along the way, including luck at avoidance of long covid, another form of acquired autoimmune/ neurological illness.

Out of curiosity, why does New Doc say you "can't" have FND? (As I write this, you are recovering from surgery...take your time) . Lots of love and wishes for a quick recovery. And thanks for sharing your incredible story with us all. ❤

@@missbetty4738 I’ve been in the same situation, have u got fnd as well? When I 1st started getting symptoms I could barely walk and then I collapsed and couldn’t walk without having tremors in my legs, I still get them all the time tho so it’s not fully gone away, rn my legs just keep collapsing so I can’t walk properly and it’s hard to breathe when I’m waking

@@mais00 I have FND and I had a period of nearly a year, when my legs kept giving out. Now I have a lot of leg issues, but I don't fall as much which is good. But you never know when a new symptom is gonna pop up, or an old one will come back
@mais00

@@A_bunch_of_homos yeah I’ve had a few symptoms, when I didn’t know I had it I started to get really dizzy but when doctors done tests they couldn’t find anything, a few days later they diagnosed me with a stomach problem (which is fine now) and then after a few weeks I started to not be able to walk properly, after 3 months of all of this I got diagnosed with fnd after I collapsed at the top of my stairs and couldn’t move from the neck down for a week, I was 9 then, Ik that I’ll probably always get symptoms but it’s rlly hard for me cause I had a dream of being a gymnast and I was quite good at gymnastics but now I can barley walk, I’ve got depression bc of all of the stuff that happened to me in the last few years, I’ve also got diagnosed with 6 medical conditions and quite a few family members have died since I was 9. I’m wishing you all the best and I hope your fnd gets better.

@@mais00 I definitely have quite a few symptoms, and I was actually diagnosed with FND because of my tics (and how they presented) but that also explained some other symptoms like pain, atonic seizures and legs giving out (which I originally thought were both tics) I currently haven't experienced paralysis, but considering how my FND has been mainly targeting my legs, I won't be surprised if I do sometime in the close(ish) future

@@madsxx4643 I live quite near London and I sometimes go there for hospital appointments and to go to a musical but yeah it gets quite busy near the main landmark areas but that kinda depends on what day it is, if it’s rush hour on a weekday then it’s packed with everyone going to work/coming home, at the weekends it’s obviously busy as well cause there’s loads of people shopping and everything, if u ever go there again depending on how far away u live I suggest to go in the time between rush hour otherwise there’s loads of traffic
