Thank you, excellent clarification! That takes a weight off my shoulders. Since knowing about TMS I always have wonder about revising my past when I've already been there and healed it. I think is more about being aware of our currents thoughts, the reactions and internal dialigue that we have been used to for prolongue period of time leaving the mind in autopilot giving it the control of our lives.

Thanks a lot Dan! Well repressed feelings and fear of making decisions bring on my symptoms. I wonder if you can touch on decision making and how to do it with that stories of past events or how it could be in the future how to redirect our thoughts. That's my challenge and thanks again for always being there every morning it's a great way to start the day! Have a good day and a good weekend!

I used to do EFT all the time, with Jesus of course coz i'm silly on my own lol... but in the end, i just have to trust that i'm safe, you are right... it just turns out that trusting i am safe took a little trying to be safe to begin with, rather than trusting... i think that if we go thru the trying stage to LEARN to trust, then that's ok too, whatever it takes, man... whatever it takes xoxoxox

Hey Dan. Could you possibly do a video dedicated to TMS and the throat? This is something I struggle with immensely. It manifests into aversions to swallowing, certain textures and swallowing pills, throat tightness, pain, anxiety over my throat..I also get chronic reflux. I know it must be TMS because it seems to get better when I'm fully focused on something or enjoying an activity. Sometimes I can eat just fine and have no problems... And the lump in my throat feeling well also get better after a good cry or telling someone how I feel. I know in my heart it is ultimately from life being hard to swallow. I've had a lot of tragedy and heartache happen lately. And in the past. But the little scared girl in me just keeps wanting to "protect me" with symptoms. It's crazy that I KNOW this but it's like I am still not convinced. I don't know what is blocking me. Fear? Also...when my back pain eased up my throat and stomach symptoms revved up! How about that.. Would love love love a video dedicated to the throat!

April: I have decided to stop doing symptom specific videos because that just tends to lead people to believe that the type or location of their symptoms matter and require a different approach. The solution is all the same. Clarity on the cause. TMS/PDP. Confidence that this is YOUR situation. Consistent messages of safety is the solution regardless of the type or location of the symptom. All details are on my getting started page: www.PainFreeYou.com/start

Hi Dan, just curious, do you think it’s necessary to identify the source of the current emotion or indeed to even name it. Do I need to know ‘why’ I suddenly feel sad or whether or not what I’m feeling is in fact sadness or melancholy or maybe anxiety? Or is simply sitting with the emotion until it’s run it’s course enough? Many thanks again Dan. 🙏
@PainFreeYou2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes the why is obvious. Sometimes it's not. I believe just feeling it is enough whether you can identify it or not.

Combining TMS work with Wim hoff methode is that a good idea? Or will that have a nocebo effect?

Not sure. I'm not aware of anyone that used Wim Hoff to end TMS and haven't heard many who combined the two. Why are you doing Wim Hoff?

@@halidjan2938 this is a really interesting question. I don’t know for sure but it seems like wim hof method could be helpful. You are teaching your brain that you are safe during a certain stimulus that’s uncomfortable.

Multi prong approach to wellness - emotional work (honest inventory) - emotional acceptance (without self judgment) - ACT (acceptance commitment therapy) Fusion vs Connection to emotions [book: The illustrated Happiness Trap, - Somatic movements so body finishes the cycle to rest, digest, restore, recover - muscle tension trigger points to relax and release muscle spasms - breathing techniques to calm the vagus nerve and heal the brain - vagus nerve reset exercises - a need for other people who can model self acceptance of emotions and choose responses that match their core values - genetic evaluation or balance the most common deficiencies (due to genetic mutation predispositions, or due to medications taken or gut health, etc) * DAO is needed to reduce histamine & inflammation so becoming aware of the DAO inhibitors, blockers, and Mast Cell Stabilizers is beneficial to alleviating symptoms. * Folate, B12, homocysteine levels (if above 7 needs attention with folate supplements due to MTHFR mutations) * magnesium * calcium * vitamin D + K2 * Vitamin B6 Test: 1) Whole Blood Histamine (WBH)- This is the simplest way to test for methylation status in the body. Methylation is a very common, but essential biochemical process in the human body and brain essential to physical and mental health. In terms of mental health Undermethylation is associated with chronic depression, obsessive compulsive tendencies, and addictions. Overmethylation is associated with high anxiety, depression, sleep disorder, and hyperactivity. (Can be balanced to normal using diet and supplements) 2) Plasma Zinc- 3) Serum Copper- 4) Kryptopyrrole (KP)- This is a test for the genetic condition known as Pyroluria. It’s is a home urine test that looks for levels of this byproduct of hemoglobin synthesis. At high levels, Kryptopyrroles latch onto zinc and B6 removing them from the body. High levels of KP also causes oxidative stress (leading to systemic and brain inflammation.) 5. Homocysteine levels
