@@blasiankiki7831 As a girl, I feel like a lot of women just expect men to have read the manual on what women want at any given moment, never taking the initiative to say anything, act like men "know they can do better" and just choose not to - if she thought he had the space to ask about her, she should, by that same logic, have had the space to interject at all. But she didn't say anything. He just met you, how is he supposed to know? And sorry you didn't get to talk, but that's how taking turns works. Did she grow up in a household where everyone had the talking-stick for exactly one minute at a time? And as a general rant about this show, people turn to the button instead of expressing to the other person what it was that they didn't like - meaning no one walks away having learned anything. Because she pushed the button, he had to walk away, and she couldn't say, "I felt like you weren't interested in my story", or anything, by the rules of the game, and that's kind of why this show falls apart at its core. Asking women lots of questions is a two-edged sword: If you add this strategy to your repertoire, you will not filter out narcissistic/selfish women, so you will need to add some filters for that specifically. Women generally tend to obsess over why a man wants to talk with them (looks vs. personality) so it's hard to find a woman who isn't sensitive about being asked lots of questions, but you need to address the risks.
@michaelturley822210 ай бұрын

I did it with a girl i was talking to and i swear she barely asked me a question for weeks, and when i finally addressed it she had the nerve to say it's because i never gave her the chance because i was always talking lmao you can't make this shit up. Stuff like tattoos and having a dog may be superficial but it tells a story about what happens on the inside. Not the full story but at least part of it.
@Angelgrinder12 жыл бұрын
@@benrex7775 yeah. To what a person is or can be it is a comparatively (very) small part, and it could also be the only part that you may not like. So if there is a person sitting in front of you, he or she is only able to show you let's say 1% of what they really are until the button is pressed while 99% of the rest would be no problem at all or maybe even very favorable by you. People nowadays tend to look for what doesn't fit instead of what could, which is reflected in the questions they ask first here. This is just a sign of consumer culture in the dating game as well. They are looking for the special someone with no flaws, while not being perfect either themselves, because they think they are entitled to the perfect "product".
@benrex77752 жыл бұрын
@@Angelgrinder1 I think there is a range of points we would agree on but we are arguing for different points. I think your statement _"People nowadays tend to look for what doesn't fit instead of what could"_ is a pretty good one and _"[...] are entitled to the perfect "product""_ also is a good statement. But I would still argue that there is something to the "superficial" stuff. I don't say everybody does it consciously, but the way we dress is us showing the world what kind of character we want to be. For example if someone is wearing rugged clothes then they show that they find the countryside interesting. If someone is wearing a suit and looks the part they show they are more interested in high society and the city live. If someone is revealing lots of skin then they proclaim to the world that they are in favor of a more liberal way to live out relationships. If someone is having loads of tattoos, piercings and bright hair they show that they are rebellious. If I value the countryside and a conservative lifestyle and I want to have a big family then I don't go to some woman in a suit or with loads of piercings. If I want to have an exciting and active relationship I don't go to a woman who wears a grey dress and head covering. It's not that it is not possible to find a suiting person there, it's just that the chances drop drastically. Or let's take the topic of overweight. If I'm an active person who loves to share my sports live with someone and I want to live happily ever after until old age then I shouldn't seek out a woman who is 600lbs. Or if my ideal way of spending the evenings is with BBQ then marrying a woman who is a dogmatic vegan isn't the best choice one can make. I don't say we should take these and make hard rules. But I do think they do help if they are applied correctly.

@@Vasilia4 I remember him from a previous match-up thing where they go through each other's phones where he was trying to get charming and got roasted by a girl for being short. He's probably learned that being nice doesn't get you anywhere and just not pulling any punches now.

@@Solkard 1. actually that was a different guy. 2. He wasn't roasted at all. The girl mildly criticised his form in his workouts and he got super offended over it. 3. Just because one person isn't nice to you don't give you the right to automatically treat everyone else like garbage

Had a female classmate while in technical school that I thought looked a little older. As a means to get an idea of her age, I intended to guess her age by purposely guessing low. Found out her real age a few days later. Let's just say...my purposeful low guess would have been an insult. She was about 8/9 years younger than I thought she was initially. She looked like she had teenagers even though she was in her early 20's. Haven't tried to compliment a woman in such a way since.

My ex girlfriend is 30 and she looks like she is 45 to 50 years old. She has more wrinkles on her face, and yet I, a 33 year old male with a ton of health problems do not have anywhere near the wrinkles she does.

That's what dumb self absorbed women do. Ask questions then get upset when you're not talking about them.

Yep. 💯. Any females that claim they want that are either damaged or simply inexperienced. They want merely an IMPRESSION of openness whether they know that or not. Keep your inner thoughts to yourself and maybe share some of those with your closest friends if it’s an appropriate time to.
