In Texas, You have to get the installer license for new mobile homes, is that something worth getting? Are new homes ever an opportunity to look into?

MICHIGAN - $450 for Dealers. Documents necessary: "Proof of applicable surety bond OR account in accordance with Manufactured Housing General Rules, Rule 214f." whatever that is...lol No written test, need an application for each business. "Must comply with the Retailer Business Practices of the Manufactured Housing General Rules"..... $150 for installer/repairer license.... may be required if u work for company that deals with mobile homes im guessing...

Absolutely if you’re selling your own. I’m glad you researched your state. Most people don’t. But usually it doesn’t apply to wholesalers

2 days ago I thought I was about ready to start flipping some mobile homes.. today I learned you need a license and a lot more money. In my state one license alone is like $600.. pretty disheartening. Maybe 2024.. 😔

Plus my state requires pictures of “the office”, the lot I’m selling out of, and a permanent sign placed on the property. Not to mention a public toilet. My goodness. Guess it’s time to look for a new gig.

@@FlippinMobileHomes I called the state and it’s not legal to flip mobile homes in Oklahoma. Only if I buy it, live in for 6 months, and it’s my primary residence… Sorry but I’m going to have to unsubscribe. It hurts too bad.. hahaha

Of course you can. I'd recommend doing a JV to get your feet wet with that though. A lot of "gurus" talk about doing it virtually, but they're full of hot air
