1/4 and 1/8 sheet pans are SO USEFUL. They're great for broiling small servings of things in addition to the things Inga mentioned. Having at least one of each 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8 sheet pans can replace almost all the pans you'd otherwise have (not replacing a casserole or dutch oven or that sort of thing, but better than most cookie sheets for most things).

My recommendations would be cheap dough scrapers (have one nearby for *everything* you do in the kitchen and you'll wonder how you managed without them). A dedicated trash bowl/container for scraps next to your cutting board, which makes everything cleaner, more manageable, and speeds up your prep work. Lastly, use wire egg baskets for produce. If you have places to hang them, they keep onions, garlic, shallots, and fruits out of your way and off your counters. Sure, they're not exactly gadgets, but all the good things are multi-purpose.

Although fun and cute, most kitchen gadgets are pointless. You can easily remove the stem from a strawberry by sticking the tip of a paring knife diagonal into the top of a strawberry, placing your thumb on the blade to prevent it from going in too deep, and the twist the strawberry and knife in opposite directions to cut the top off. This will give you exactly the same result as with this strawberry stem remover, if not a better result as you can decide how close to the stem you want to cut. If you want to be sure that your bottom pie crust is always crispy, then brush an egg wash on the dough after you've blind baked it, and then put it back into the oven to let it sit. The egg wash will create a barrier that prevents any moisture from getting into the bottom crust. You can get sieves, measuring cups, silicone containers and trays in all shapes and sizes, I wouldn't really call these gadgets, but they are essential kitchen tools that you should own.

You know what would be a really good idea? I feel like they could do a video series on like the agriculture part of food, like going over to fish farms, caviar farms, cattle, dairy farms, oil/olive farms, poultry etc etc. this not only supports locally grown goods of the region but it could take them all over the world! Asia,Europe,America,Africa,Australia!! Britain,Spain,Greece,Brazil!!! I feel like this can def get some views and they could def get sponsors to support since this is literally the best. They can even collab with their friends from tasty/Buzzfeed or some of there friends who started their own channel(we love to see self entrepreneurs). And for America since they are help supporting small businesses which have been hit hard since COVID-19 they can probably ask for some grants or government funding. Idk how it would work internationally, I would just partner with BBC in that case. Edit: This is just me putting in my two cents since I love everyone in this channel so much. They all bring more awareness and appreciation for other types of cultural dishes and food that we really don’t see here in the US, not that it’s anyone’s fault. Its just this country is so gosh darn huge I barely know about popular foods in different states then my own, the only reason I make it a point to be observant on other peoples culture and traditions is because of my parents and the community that I’m in since I’m a first generation american, saying that how could I accept someone else who’s family was born here all there life to know unless I do what I can to spread awareness. I don’t know I just got really interested in this since one of my majors for my undergrad is International Business. Just want to make sure that y’all get to do what you love while also getting the benefits of American Capitalism😂
