What was so significant about your time in Paris is that you actually LIVED there... you weren't an exchange student or someone just on an extended stay....you had to learn about the Paris apartment rental system, French politics etc....AND you experienced the COVID19 lock down Parisian style....Girl, you went through a LOT!

Ahhh yes so much 🥲😵💫. What a time - feel so much stronger having gone through it though

Tiff this was great having you revisit the feelings of going back to Paris. I first discovered you because of my own desire to someday move to Paris and get French fluent. You are so very together with your ability to make a change when your soul tells you to. Keep sharing and keep growing. You help so many people. Thank you.

I lived abroad in London and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It was hard for me to return to the U.S. as well. Several years later I went back for a visit and had a similar experience to my "2nd home" as you had to yours. It really is amazing how things come full circle as we grow in life. I just returned from a solo trip to Paris. I loved it! Wonderful people, food and culture. I hope to go back with friends in the coming year. Thank you for sharing your experience. I enjoyed hearing about it and I wish you all the best in life!!

@@dude6185q I stayed at the Prince Albert hotel in Montmartre but I don’t recommend it! Idk it was kind of musty in my opinion
@cathywaters62338 ай бұрын
@@dude6185q I stayed at Hotel Fontaines du Luxembourg in the 6th Arrondissement. It's a 3-star boutique hotel down the street from Luxembourg Gardens. It is a wonderful hotel, with a friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay. The area was wonderful as well. It's very Parisian, near St. Germain and Cafe Flore-which I loved. I wanted an authentic experience that was safe for me as a solo female traveler, and I got it. There were other Americans in the area as well. From my understanding the 6th arrondissement has a great rating for American solo travelers and those with families. I was a 2-minute walk from Luxemburg Gardens. A 10-minute walk from the Pantheon and about a 20-minute walk from Norte Dame and the Seine River. I highly recommend that area, they have wonderful hotels at an affordable price. I hope you have a wonderful trip this summer!

Your Paris experience totally resonates! My first time there, I was a totally different person and the experience of being there was transformative. When I left, I found myself questioning everything. I went back years later in a space where my life was so much better, so much closer to everything I’d dreamed of that first time leaving Paris. And going back was a reminder of that. Im glad you were able to have a confident conversation in French - that’s my next goal! ❤

I had similar feelings when I visited Brooklyn after being gone for like 5-6 years. I have a love/hate relationship with the experience I had living there, so I was nervous about what negative feelings might come up (some did), but it ended just feeling super natural like I never left.

I think it wasn't a real taxi. Lately, there are people pretending to be taxis at CDG airport. This is a real problem for real taxis and for the police who are doing their best to stop this. So sorry for you.

Hi Tiffanie. I want to know do you ever plan to become a news reporter or a talk show host? And do you have advice for someone who wants to move to LA without a job lined up?
@TiffanieDavis11 ай бұрын
Hmmm I don't think I could handle the news but talk show host could be a vibe! Hmm, I would say if you feel comfortable enough & have the security to move without a job - why not! I'm not sure how competitive the market is here though as I had a job before I moved here. But definitely start looking on job sites asap if that's your plan

Too much filler chat. I am certain that potential US residents or expats considering a life in Paris-France will learn nothing from your journey by being so non-specific about what you actually experienced. Very tiring waiting for truly helpful specifics, culture facts, and relocation details --- the reason I started watching. Truly troublesome as a potential Black expat.

there is too much ( what to call it ? ) useless time - uninteresting filler flapping gums - especially at the start of the video . Why ? it’s off putting to have to wade through that - but then ; I’m not a longtime watcher so all that is a waste of time to me.
