Since we practice in California we can’t say for certain (State laws and typical techniques vary drastically in this area). Definitely reach out to an Estate Planning Attorney in Alabama to learn what the best approach would be in your case. If the Probate process in your State is not very cumbersome or expensive, a Will based plan may be used more commonly. There are also beneficiary deeds that pass either to a person or trust as well, so lots of different techniques just depending on your goals and local rules.
