Most of Indonesians are familiar with anime, but vtuber is other thing (especially for older generation). Almost whole of my family have watched anime, include my parents, aunt, uncle, and cousin. Even some of my older neighbors and half of my college students also watched & still watching the anime. Popular anime among older generation usually limited to OG anime like Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh, Detective Conan, and many more. While younger generation like me usually updated to the new anime on recent season. While the vtuber is kinda new for most of Indonesians, the one that knew usually are young man/girl, but older generation maybe will think the vtuber is an anime character (looking from character design), or even game character.

It's based on my experience who lived in urban area, but maybe you will get different answer from Indonesian who lived in rural area. Actually for me, the Japanese culture here are really appreciated, cosplay/japanese event are everywhere, and almost every week i've attended cosplay event, include in my own university.

this is the idea i have and always had from them three, Risu is the funny one , Iofi is the educational, only joining the fun and jokes with risu when risu pushes her, and Moona seems to be the more composed one in that area, only joining when risu pushes her a bit, Moona is my favorite above them all(i like them all the same), she can sing well, dance well, and can be funny when it needs to be, Iofi i like because her art streams are very comfy, and Risu because she seems to be bringing something that is the fun and relaxed environment, and she can sing well(i was surprised when she sang), Holo ID overall is very balanced , there's plenty of different talents, with different traits, and for everyone tastes, i like that, also thank you @EnyaChh for the Risu clips, it makes me smile, when i see risu making memes and jokes :D
