There is inner work that you must do. Saying sorry to God does not qualify and your sins are not atoned. For example if I am an alcoholic I must make a conscious effort to stop, and do the inner work to change. I cannot continue in that path. If I am the same person I was last year, then I have not done any inner work to stop the reasons why I sin. Also, remember that sin is different in Judaism and Christianity. Jesus created new sins such as thinking of sex. If you even think of the sin you have committed the sin in Christianity. Therefore you need Jesus lol, but that idea does not exist in the scriptures.

The book of Job is an example of someone who was deemed righteous without being washed by Jesus. We know from Jewish scripture that Repentance alone atones for sin. 2Samuel12:13, Psalms51:16-19. We know that sacrifices are replaced by prayer Hosea14:2-3. We know that obeying God is better than a sacrifice 1Samuel15:2, Micah6:6-8. Yes, Repentance is a lifestyle. Every moment you are given the option to obey God or obey Satan. As you become spiritually stronger and closer to God you will sin less. The same sins you did before knowing God are not the same sins you will be doing 5 years later in your walk with God. Most people stop drinking, having random sex, eat proper, etc. You use all the tools God gave you to make yourself into the best version possible. This is what God wants from you. For your Christian theology to make sense you need to give a reason for why we can no longer do what the Jewish scriptures say to do to atone for our sins. And your answer cannot be found in the New Testament for the same reason that you wouldn't believe something from the Book of Mormon or the Quran. This is called Repentance. The instructions come from Deuteronomy 30 and then are expanded upon in the Prophets and Writings where God literally says twice that that our sins are atoned when we stop our evil ways are return to him. For example if I am poor and need to steal, I must make the effort to apply for jobs, or grow my own food, etc. I cannot sit around being helpless and just steal from people because Paul said we are helpless to Satan. Satan can't force you to do anything. You are making the conscious choice to sin. What sin are you having trouble stopping? Remember, thinking of sin is not the same as committing it. That is a Christian way to trick you into thinking it's impossible to stop sin. In Torah, it's what you do. Not what you think.

Some of the 613 laws are for men only, others for women only. Some apply to the preisthood while others are for farmers. There is even 1 commandment which requires you to return a lost object when found. Does that mean before I die I need to go out looking for a lost object to return it, and if I can't find a lost object I go to hell? There is no such thing as fulling the law, or needing to keep it perfectly. Gods wants you to try your best to follow the laws which apply to you (you're not Jewish), so you would only need to stop lying, stop stealing, stop killing, etc. Very basic and easy things any human can and should want to do. This is called Repentance (making the change to stop sinning) and is what atones for your sin. And you don't need to do sacrifices either. Sacrifices are only one of many ways to atone for sin. Now that we no longer operate in the carnal mind but in the spirit, you must learn to want to stop sinning on your own without being forced to kill cute baby sheep lol. It doesn't matter if Paul says you're not good enough because God says you are. If you have questions let me know. The role of us Jews is to help guide lost souls such as yourself back onto the straight path. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “Turn from your wicked ways so that I will forgive your sin and heal your land” This is called Repentance which is the best way to atone for sin. Christian missionaries will pretend this doesn’t exist or will try to interpret it in a way that supports their false teachings. Remember you must base your interpretation on the Torah and this interpretation is validated by Deuteronomy 30. Isaiah 1:11-20 God explains how he doesn’t want blood sacrifices and they serve no purpose for him. Many people were confused and thought all they had to do was offer up a sacrifice to fix their own problem of sin. This is false, and God clarifies “put away the evil of your doings”, “cease to do evil”, and “learn to do good. Isaiah 6:4 Coal is used to atone for sin. No blood. Isaiah 55:6-7 Here we find more instructions for Repentance. “Let the wicked forsake his ways” “And I will pardon his sin”. Hosea 3:4 Lets us know to expect that there will be a time period without sacrifices, which is our dispensation now. Hosea 14:2 Lets us know that during the dispensation without sacrifice that our prayers (Repentance) will be used to replace the bull offerings. Amos 5:22-25 Again the people were under the false assumption that all they needed to do to fix their own problem of sin was to offer up a sacrifice and they would receive atonement. God shames them and reminds them of the 40 years we spent with God in the wilderness and how we never once offered up sacrifices during the period we were literally with God. We must always refer to the Torah for the correct interpretation instead of picking and choosing how we feel it should be done. Nothing can contradict Deuteronomy 30. Micah 6:6-8 Again the people continue to be under the false idea that a sacrifice will fix their own problem of sin. The reason we see this concept repeating so often is because it is human nature to not want to admit our faults and not want to put in the effort to become a better person. God says that even a thousand rams would not make him as happy as he would if we would just stop sinning and put in the effort to become better people. God says “And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”.

Jewish people not going to heaven is paradoxical and here is why I believe that. According to the Old Testament, the Jewish people are God's chosen. That suggests that God holds them above other people. Correct me if I'm wrong but to me that's a problem in and of itself because we are taught that God loves all his people equally. How can God love all his people equally yet have a favorite. That's not the paradox I'm addressing here, however. The paradoxical issue I'm addressing is, according to the New Testament, no one comes to the Father except through Jesus. If no one comes to the Father except through Jesus, that means Jewish people who do not believe in Jesus as the son of God cannot go to heaven unless they accept Jesus as their lord and savior. Right now, Jewish people cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven as at best they believe Jesus is a prophet. Can someone please tell me how this paradox is resolved? Is it that the Jewish people are not God's chosen or is it that Jewish people will eventually accept Jesus as the Christ and son of God? If the Jewish people are not truly the chosen people, who are God's chosen people. Did the Old Testament get it wrong? If you believe the bible is the word of God, then it cannot be flawed. I was confused at first too, I did a lot of Bible reading and when read John in the Bible it makes sense now. Jesus said he the way, the truth and the life. Jesus also if you believe in him you will have eternal life but those who don’t will be dead… he point out saying the only way to get through God is to get through Jesus, God is in Jesus therefore Jesus is the way. When Jesus was speaking to the Jews he wasn’t speaking based on his words or knowledge but he was speaking from God words and what God wants to let them know. All those stuff that Jesus said to the Jews was God words not from Jesus himself… which proves that God wanted the Jews to glorify Jesus and accept Jesus as our savior so we can be saved… the Old Testament doesn’t apply in today society. Jesus said no matter what we do of keeping the God law or Moses law is not going to saved but what will saved is accept Jesus is lord, he died in the cross for our sin, believe God raised him from the dead and confess to our sin and will not perish but have eternal life.

I just can't see this demand to be believed in, the sinners who believe go to heaven, and good people who try hard to be good and believe many other things, go to hell. What role does trying to be good play, if there is a heaven, if those who strive for goodness, or born good, people who reach into a burning car to save lives... go to hell because they were born to a different culture with different gods. It seems so wrong that I can't, in my mind, in good conscience, be Christian. My question is. How can we so easily believe in Jesus amd have faith in him? I understand the Jewish view based on the second commandment which says very specifically Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor serve them”. This commandment was issued by God long before the birth of christ. So to blatantly disobey this commandment from God in favor of the teachings of a man seems to be religious suicide. I believe in Jesus. But this simple question is what I feel has me torn and unable to move forward in my religious journey. It has me in fear because on the one hand we have a direct commandment from God telling us we are not allowed to believe in anyone or anything else. Then on the other hand I have a very beautiful message from a man who claims to be the son of God yet equal to him who came here to sacrifice himself to save humanity. Because we chose to disobey him in the first place. Its very very hard to choose. It is very stressful. Because I care to serve God in whatever way I must. However over centuries the best path has become a guessing game. In my opinion it seems to be a game of Russian roulette. Only if you lose it doesn't end at just death but an eternity of separation from God. Which terrifies me personally. Unfortunately the only way I can receive any clarity in making a decision for which path I should choose is by talking to another person. Who may ir may not have a better understanding than I already possess. The other issue with that is that people have an ability to be persuasive in either belief. But the problem with both is that I am having to rely on people at all. When I believe God is the only way to truly know what path to choose. Unfortunately in this predicament I'm in some would say pray to God that he may provide me with the answers. Which i have no problem doing. Aside from the fact that God doesn't communicate directly so that doesn't help with the confusion. I've met people who say God talks to them. Personally I think those people are bat shit crazy. 🤔 so I guess my question really comes down to. How if God loves mankind so deeply can he allow for there to be so much confusion. With no clear direct path to understanding? How can it be that (if he loves me so much and he has the power to do anything he chooses) that he cannot simply tell me or at the very least give me an irrefutable sign that I can understand and will eliminate any doubt that I am on the correct path? The fact that I have no clear answer honestly makes me feel that I am forsaken and that perhaps I am just chasing my own tail. Leaving me with an overwhelming feeling that I am doomed. Because as much as I'd like to think I have common sense and a good head on my shoulders or that I should be able to trust my intuition. I can't rely on that because I've been married and I am positive that no matter how much I cared I was lead down the wrong path anyways. I have no faith in man.
