The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. However, consistently showing up for the people we love the way WE KNOW HOW to show up, means we're not truly meeting our partners needs ..🤷🏾‍♀️ And I believe that we LEARN who we love.🤷🏾‍♀️ For instance, if my Man said that he would like a private dinner & a movie to celebrate his birthday, but in all my lil " Wisdom & showing up for him in my own way" decide to throw him a huge party, with 100 folks, did I really even show up for him, or was that more about me...🤔 I just think that if we show up in the way that our partner NEEDS, instead of the way that we were taught/ conditioned growing up to show up for each other, there'd be less divorces. The Beautiful thing about this is learning how to support one another even if your with someone who doesn't talk much. My husband is sometimes slow when he needs to apologize. He will do little things that he wouldn't do if he was still mad. It's cute! So, If I pay too much attention looking for the words, I would miss that the language his different.
