Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I love this conversation ESPECIALLY in 2023! As a woman I want to be a helpmate to my partner in whatever capacity I can. That’s why it’s important to build a solid foundation based on what works for the 2 of you and not based on what society says is standard. If I need to support from the back , the sideline or lead in the front WITH my partner I’ll do it. God calls us to be a HELP-mate for a reason.

Marcus is speaking wisdom… which is lacking in the majority of people… without saying it blatantly, you are sharing how emotionally immature and fickle we can be, which throws off most relationships. I’m learning now more than ever that Comparison is the thief of Joy and we are guilty of comparison from social media and “coveting” what we think is where it’s at… thanks for taking it back to the basics of commitment and showing that value and support is different for everyone. We need more of it. 🙏 God bless

This was a GREAT conversation between two Grown Men!!!💪🏾 Also, he was funny, funny. Especially when he said " A Woman that don't work is unattractive to me"...😩😂😭 He's CRAZY!!!😩 And you also did a SPECTACULAR job with your style of questions!!!👍🏾 Also,it was special to hear a man say that he NEEDS his wife!!!🤗 However, I disagree with the notion of allowing people to "Show up the way they know how", because for me it sets a dangerous precedent for someone to Not show up for me in the manner that I have verbally communicated that I NEED to feel loved & secure.🤷🏾‍♀️ Granted, there is Grace that we give to the people in our lives, as we too need grace!!! However, consistently showing up for the people we love the way WE KNOW HOW to show up, means we're not truly meeting our partners needs ..🤷🏾‍♀️ And I believe that we LEARN who we love.🤷🏾‍♀️ For instance, if my Man said that he would like a private dinner & a movie to celebrate his birthday, but in all my lil " Wisdom & showing up for him in my own way" decide to throw him a huge party, with 100 folks, did I really even show up for him, or was that more about me...🤔 I just think that if we show up in the way that our partner NEEDS, instead of the way that we were taught/ conditioned growing up to show up for each other, there'd be less divorces. My lil two cents...🤷🏾‍♀️ All in all, I enjoyed you & your guest perspectives.🤗

The Beautiful thing about this is learning how to support one another even if your with someone who doesn't talk much. My husband is sometimes slow when he needs to apologize. He will do little things that he wouldn't do if he was still mad. It's cute! So, If I pay too much attention looking for the words, I would miss that the language his different. Wanting someone will never be enough to make me stay. I need to need you and be needed. If I need you then I’m thinking about all the consequences of losing you. If I want you then I don’t care about you I just want what I want. A want is selfish to need you is selfless.

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I know this is KZbin but I think this is TV 📺 broadcasting quality. So many great nuggets from here from Marcus marriage. And also when you shared how you still used your ex-wife with business. Shows that we don’t have to be angry and upset with people just because they are in our past. This is wait healing looks like!!!!

This update did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the discussion on support. It was very enlightening. I also enjoyed hearing how his wife embraced her mother in love. That was so encouraging to hear as a family caregiver. 😊❤
