MY wife and I moved from a 2 br apartment to a 4 br 3 full bath brand new home in 2001 and had to rent it out due to job loss in 2003 and I felt like a failure and my wife responded with excitement. I was floored I asked your not upset we just got the home and we are moving back into an apartment ? Her response was I like the weather there better. It motivated me more than anything to get her back into a home as I felt she deserved the world afterwards. We have been married for 30 years come Jan 2023 and another woman would ever be able to catch my eye as she has me as long as she will have me.

Men are really into their stuff but when a woman loves her MAN, not their LIFESTYLE, how much they have doesn't matter as long as their needs are met. Even if things are tight, when there is love and respect between a man and his wife, a good woman will stand the test of time. Furthermore, a 2br apartment is MUCH easier to clean than a big ole' 4br house! Glad for y'all. Hope you make it till death do you part. 💕

This is so beautiful!! He is so in love with his wife! It’s so visible!❤️My parents been married for 51 years and in my lifetime I can only recall them having one argument. A argument that I woke up too as a child. And this is not to say that they didn’t argue but they made it a point not to argue in front of their children. They fought to stay together! Rising 8 children, underlined health conditions, and now my mom has dementia but there still together! I’m encouraged! Marriage is honorable in all and the bed is undefiled!

Awww....my granddaddy was 12 when he told my grandmother he was going to marry her. She was 9 years old. They were married for 60 years. Got married when she was 18 and he was 21. He succumbed to cancer 3 months after their 60th anniversary. They were so in love. He would grab her booty in front of us as soon as he came in the house and call her his "Brown Sugar." We would be like, "Uggghhh!!!" when we were kids.🤭

Its something bout the name Sugar.. mine called My Granny Sugar Bear.. but if she didnt answer he'd take the bass out his voice and whisper Darling (we would fall out laughing cause he was a LOUD talker and we'd be like why he always whispering at Granny) and wrap his arms around her waist from behind and slow dance and she'd ALWAYS blushed rosey cheeks EVERY SINGLE TIME and turn to kiss him then say WHAT DO YOU WANT.. and smile.. and we'd be like gooosshh... and they both would laugh at us.. Kellie, we are truly blessed to have witnessed, what we really didnt understand as children, what black love truly looks like. That was our grandfathers' love languages...before love language was a thing💞💞💞🙌🙌🙌🙏🏽🙏🏽

@@kingdomkrafted6200 I love this!!! Yes, we were so blessed. My grandparents were very respectful and kind to each other. They would disagree on things but never yelled or called each other out of their names. My mama even said the same thing about them. And you know what? My granddaddy let us grandkids know that we better not raise a hair on my grandmother's head or we would have him to deal with.☺️ We would be over there after school or on teacher's workdays. So, he let us know, "This ain't what you want, Grandchirrren!"😂😂😂 So, we gave my grandma no problems.🤭

He said he saw her and she took his breath away... he had traveled all over the world and never saw something so beautiful.. he paid his friend's one week salary to let him delivery milk to my Granny's house.. she wouldn't pay him no mind so he paid dude for a month cause he meant he was gone marry her..he thougt he was the best and only deserved the best and when he looked at her and listened to her speak she represented the best of himself that he had yet to see...And he NEEDED to see his greatest self..because he was his ONLY competition but he knew there was more...they married when she was 18 and he was 28 and they were together for over 65 years... til death did them part... and he was the first black A LOT of things in our town and he'd say it was because of God and the gift he gave him in her.

I loved when he actually offered a tissue because it brought him to tears as he recounted the story of her unbuttoning her pink blouse and her saying, she thought it would happen different than this! And how he stopped his fleshly gratification until the time was comfortable for him and his Bride. He tearedd up like it happened yesterday! But if it had, it might of caused a rift in their Union today if she felt defiled in any way. The most powerful moment coming from her when she stayed the course through bankruptcy was when she said, "Help me to see!" Wow!!! It takes two people loving Him because He never promised a life of comfort or convenience. And recognizing the gift of the other as a gift from God so that u not only choose each other but prefer one another because you can lose it at any time, even by death, let alone divorce or separation.

When he came back home... they ran into each other at the store. He took his mom and auntie, and my mom's little sister kept bugging her to take her to the store that day. Revelation, wow. Intentionally dying to self, and releasing my wants... to have my hands free to bandage, massage, apply healing balm to HIS wounded places. In service to God. Not using your two hands to try to mold a man into the image you want, or who you told yourself he was when you met. But in true servitude and obedience to the Father. Who called you to do so in the 1st place. That requires an actual relationship with the Father, a willingness to serve, and a intimate knowledge of the Father's voice and Word. Wow. And while I knew that in a way, something about how it was presented hit different. Charis and Shalom ❤️

I loved this episode. Wisdom! Gems! When they said you have to make each other a priority, that's powerful. Do you know the level of security (speaking as a woman) you feel when you know you are a man's priority?! POWERFUL! I'd also like to add to that "best friend." If you are your spouse's best friend and priority, that's a hedge of protection like no other. I want that Copeland Love 💕. Laterras, when you said you gave your ex-wife the letter with the names of every woman and what you did, it was the "whew Lord" for me 😂
