Good explanation of area damage. I had always thought +AD on gear added to your AD chance. But it's more like the AD equivalent of critical hit damage

CDR (cooldown reduction) is so important for a Demon Hunter Unhallowed Essence multishot build. It's the reason why it is one of the strongest, most common builds used for fast, efficient farming. You should aim to have CDR around 36% (33 to 35% will have a few seconds wait for the next use) for this build. Why? It enables you to maintain permanent uptime for Vengence. When combined with the Seethe rune, it generates 10 hatred per second, and you have a 40% damage increase buff. Otherwise, Vengeance has a 90 second cooldown period.

Thanks for the video. As a new player I really learned a lot from it. I have one specific question that I hope you can answer for me. On the leap barbarian that I am also using, I have 20% area damage both my shoulders and gloves (not yet on the rings) and 10% weapon damage modifier on my blade of the tribes. Can you tell me if my total damage will go up if I change the weapon 10% damage multiplier to 24% area damage? I'm having a difficult time determining this since 24>10 but the 10% increases everything 100% of the time. Sorry if this a bit too specific but I'm still a bit overwhelmed by all the new mechanics I'm learning about.

Thank you so much for making this video. After watching this video, i went home and worked on a squishy build I've been struggling with. The firebird build. I'm a born again diablo 3 player and just fell in love with making the firebird set tanky as hell, yesterday. All thanks to your advice and information when it comes to multipliers. Firebird is naturally a DOT set it seems... So i was just struggling to live long enough for things to die from the DOT. For crying out loud... The 2 piece part of the set prepares you by pretty much letting you know "you're going to die" lol! But I finally did it, i got my character to be really tanky and do a decent amount of DPS. I just DOT a mob and sort of move on to another group and DOT them. It's not the fastest speed run build in the world, but I'm just happy i could come up with my own idea 1st (before copying someone else's build) after getting your advice. It really worked. Besides having the fastest speed run build isn't what I'm really going for when I'm having fun. 😁

All ways a great video. I'm glad you did this vid, I all ways have argument with mate over stats. I look at multipliers and he look at damage increase [like your weapon example I would be looking for increase in skill damage and he be looking at base weapon damage]. So he would go ancient over skill % increase.

Can you make a guide about how vit/armor/resistance works. Also an example of your 1 hit death potential and some mobs that can one hit like archers/ spear clans / lacuni slashers. I seem to die by those a lot. I would like to know a damage number on some of these hits I take. And what a comfortable gr lvl I could run to not be at risk of getting 1 shot. For example. If I have 1m health what's a good gr lvl for me to get hit 750k by a monster vs 1.5m

Multipliers- they multiply your damage. Eg you now deal 3,500% more damage

Thanks 😁😁 I played vanilla and ROS on PC till it packed it and picked the game up on Xbox one. Played seasons on there till this current one, and have moved over to PC as easier to make videos (no PTR on console) The game is brilliant on console and I’m very tempted to get a switch too 😂

@@FilthyCasual96 Haha yeah I can see the PTR challenge :P Switch is amazing for Diablo 3, only downside is the battery life of the Switch ... If the new Switch Lite has awesome battery life I will buy it JUST because of that! Diablo 3 on the go is no joke, it's awesome! But 3-4 hours of gaming is just not enough... I usually bring a power bank and power my switch with that when I know I won't be close to a power socket for atleast 3 hours, that works great... If I can choose I play on the PC, but sometimes the Switch is just the easier option (example when traveling, camping or when I'm at the cabin) So if you're looking for a Diablo 3 on-the-go machine I recommend the Switch! if you're happy with your couch gaming experience and don't need on-the-go Diablo 3 I would just stick with the xbox ;) Keep it up man! As long as Season 17 keeps me interested I'll keep coming back... When I'm tired of Season 17 I guess I'll see you again in Season 18 if you're still at it :D
