Most probably given that lots of unexplained sightings of UFOs have been reported. And even encounters with actual aliens have been reported.So are these people who claim to have seen these UFOs and aliens all liars or seemingly just imagining what they see.As some of these cannot be easily dismissed, as hoaxes.Then likely that some of these encounters are actually real life accounts and happenings. And what’s more weird and strange, belief in another planet that exists an alien race.Or belief in deities such as god(s) which no one has ever seen.An alien race is easier to believe in as we humans are here on planet Earth.So we ourselves would also be alien to an alien race from another planet. And would an alien race even have such human concepts as religions or a belief in deities god(s).As why would they have progressed completely independently of Earth and all human concepts.More likely that an alien race would have its own unique beliefs.The people of Earth don’t even all believe in the same exact things, and they live on the same planet as us.

Look, if you hate Ibn Taymiyyah that much, then you probably have issues with the Noble Qur'an itself since you are embarrassed that Allah Almighty attributes a face and hands (besides other seemingly-physical attributes) to Himself that you want to brush them off as meaning something else altogether. Well no-one except Allah Almighty Himself truly knows what those words stand for; so why even bother to interpret them other than what they explicitly say when your interpretation could be totally wrong and possibly bring upon you the wrath of Allah Almighty? Allah Almighty says in Aya 11 of Surat Al-Shura: "There is nothing like Him". So any "problematic" word - like "face", "hands", "sat", "throne", etc. - should be governed by that criterion - that "There is nothing like Him". If the Gardens of Heaven are beyond the imagination of our most imaginative artists, scientists and thinkers, do you seriously think that by asserting Allah Almighty's own words [that He has a face, hands (etc)] that we have made Him "man-like" or in any way like His own creation?! "There is nothing like Him". Period.

There is one verse of the quran that strongly suggests other creation. I can't remember the surah or verse number. .'Allah created the seven heavens and of the earth a similar number.' I understand that 7 was used to symbolise an unknown quantity. So that would assume there are other earth like planets out there.

Well on face value it does come across as a silly question, but I think everyone around the world would agree that it is a question that should be taken seriously, because well what could be out there? What other forms of life has God created? Are they friendly or hostile? From what data from encounters that we have, it would seem that many are indeed hostile, but some are more benevolent. But I do have to admit, the probability that we are not alone in the universe is incredibly high, but can one imagine the terrible tragedy if we truly were all alone in the universe.
