Yes, Whole Northeast was independent. We have evaded many attacks coming from mainland India, Delhi Sultanate, Mughals etc. Therefore you can't see any Islamic architecture in the Northeast. British East India came only by Yandaboo peace treaty with Myanmar. And took all the independent Northeaster states under India, otherwise Northeastern region would been have a Petroleum rich country.

Sorry my friends your statements are very ignorant and baseless. Mizoram is one of the most peaceful and disciplined state of India, free from insurgency or any succession movement I don't think it would be possible even if 15-20% population are against Indian administration. Obviously there is widespread resentment due to the fact that government ignored this region for past many decades and lack of awareness among people. What need to be done is making these areas and people more mainstream and with greater internet access things are improving more and more people are exploring these places also finally government understands the value and strategic importance of NE region. Mizos are proud Indians there are some fault lines created due to ignorance of past leaderships which I hope will be bridged as soon as possible. Also as Laishram has mentioned bro 'Bombing of Aizawl' will always be a blot in Indian history as a sign of reckless decision making by a reckless leadership. I can understand it will always remain as a horrific memory for Mizos but what happened in past can't be undo now let's work together for better future than remembering a distorted past ❤️

@@CurryandDumpling i am from mizoram too, and yes there was an insurgency during the last decades that was when mizoram was not yet offically a part of India, but even that insurgency was because mainland soldiers were causing problems such as taking the states lands without orders, raping our girls and etc etc....but then our state gov. signed an agreement and then became offically a part of India in the year 1987
@SillyTalk_E4 жыл бұрын
@ajinkya sonawane 😆 come on can't you read what i have wrote. I am not saying today's mainland Indians know this or that nor they are responsible in anyway. I was just mentioning WHY mizo people and also other NE states were causing insurgency at that time. And of course, if we use our commom sense nobody would have simply caused insurgency for no reason unless some mainland people AT THAT TIME showed discrimination to them and do such things that we all knew. That's what i was talking about, read properly this time and you'll see that i am not talking about today's generations. PEACE.

So i think we are moving forward Lol. Just saying the facts so that you know happened to us before and if you think that we are still angry to mainland, you are wrong brother/sister. 😁 please know that i was just explaining what happened to NE states BEFORE in the 90s, so that people dont misunderstood why we were causing insurgency. I am just telling some history facts. Dont think i am still angry because of something what happened before i was even born okay 😁 if you think that i was trying to make problems here, you are wrong so i hope you understand now that I was just saying some history facts. When interacting with mainlanders in any sort of social media, Or video games, when they asked where I'm from and for answering them, I feel like having a teaching to a grade 3 students geography class. But at the end of the day we often become friends. It is just a very small gap for this issue. When anyone go through that small gap, will see the beauty of India🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳. Thank you

But in America Blacks are accepted as Americans whereas Mizos, Nagas etc are still considered foreigners in India. Also Indian diasporic experience abroad cannot be compared to northeastern Indian experience with the latter being Indians by birth..and coming from states that are very much a part of the Federal Union. Its something an Uttar Pradeshi or Rajasthani in India never ever faces.. Anyways, you guys are shining a light on this topic in your own way and I commend you for it

It is because there is lot of movement of people from one place to another so people get to learn about each other. Movement from rest of india to north east and north east to india is very less that's why

This was the most meaningful video. content was great and discussion about it really made feel sad, angry and somewhat pity those people who wants to go through such harsh situations only because they look like foreign or a little bit act like foreign...which is wrong...such unjust issues must be stopped...I hope some unbiased decisions to be made for the betterment of these people. As an indian and maharashtrian, I really respect every culture, every religion either it's in india or in foreign countries...I love to learn about different types of culture and their lifestyles... it's quite new and interesting for me. And it also makes me respect their culture more that way. Thanks for the delivering this video to us. I'm sure it'll help many people to become aware about northeast indians. maybe they'll stop being ignorant and start to embrace as they are.

@@raiindian772 There is Aryan in Sanskrit which means a"Great person" (Uttama purush) and theory might be wrong or true because it was before 7000 B.C where people like Homo sapiens, homo Erectus, Yetis and all travelled the world and we are one of them but one thing common is that human beings are born in Africa. So, all our Ancestors are from Africa.

I have been to a lot of places in India, from north to south, east to west, every where I went, I am mostly regarded as a foreigner, as a Chinese, Korean or Japanese. As far as my concern, we'll never be considered an actual Indian because we look different. Chandigarh is the only State where I am accepted as who I am, as an Indian.

I am bihari . I m sure every freaking body in whole comment section knows that biharis are discriminated most in whole india we r discriminated in northeast delhi mumbai south every where but i am proud that no one can dare to ask me u r indian or not. I am not weak like these people🤣🤣🤣 whom i saw in this video that some one discriminate me i will say i m not indian . I am not weak like these foolish people. I hv no prblm with any one calling me bihari . Me and my best friend both studys in kota he is from nagaland he calls me bihari i call him momo🤣🤣(dont get offended we have no prblm) and we r best friends a racial word cant make me apart from india . I am proud to be Indian proud to be bihari.😘 Edit: my nation have given me many thing there is nothing that can divide me from my nation some one tells me bihari as a gaali lakhs time ihv no prblm. Actually meko koi bihari bulata mai usko hmm krke jawab bhi deta aur wo meko itta sa bhi discriminating nhi lgta😁😁

You are spot on when you talk about North Indian attitudes,even they discriminate about us South Indians,because we are a shade darker,but we South Indian Tamils are all over Southeast Asia so the north easterners are at home and welcome all over chennai,tamil nadu,but supister diesnt understand we don’t have one language like Indian language,or Indian race like Indian race,because South Indian languages and Hindi like English and Chinese (writing,spoken completely different)so different,but Nepali and tibetan(yes writing based on Devanagari script) are close to Hindi.

Not only northeast but people from ladakh , Himachal ,Uttarakhand have mongloid features too.....so it's not that mainlanders have no idea that India has Asian looking people too... If u see Uttar Pradesh is connected to Nepal....so people know these features.... Also many Tibetan refugees and Nepalese live in India. It's just some people r racist to anybody whose not like them....becoz of differences in culture and like u said some mainlanders have misinformation about NE.

to any foreigners out there who thinks that India is a racist country (like every other country), it is but there are also many good people there. Yes, as a person from north-east, I have faced discrimination, but these days, people are coming to know of it. I think the main problem is the lack of knowledge. I hope that it will progress this way and lead to a country where everyone can thrive.

I'll tell you what, Most popular land like Nagaland in north Eastern would never considered themselves as Indian or part of india even in territory. Neither, they considered themselves as different nation with different flag, and territories. Because, due to their history, Nagaland has been separated and freed differently by the British during the British's rules but India compiled with Nagaland in same territory as one.But due to different religion and racists arguments by the hindus, Nagaland decided proclaiming his own nation as a Christian land starting from the past decades and even now it is going active. If the India really refuses the Nagaland as a different nation, this small nation will made war which is supported by other nations like china and Pakistan against india. This is totally getting worse now. And this small nation has two types of armies like NSCM (IM) And NSCM (k) which rate bout 57k personal active soldiers and in both total like 1.2 lakh active soldiers without advanced weapons but an armed weapons to rise against top's country India😂😆 well, war ahead!. Anyways, I'm not from Nagaland but this is true though" yea my father is type Naga but with different culture and my mom is also between American n Chinese 😭 so guess how do I look?? Well i just like you guys to know some hidden so: 😄 Anyways I like you guys alot!!😍
