Cockatrice is not deathtouch since it doesnt need to do combat dmg to the creature to kill it. Put a lure on it and it will kill all creatures at end of combat

Skewer slinger is better than a 2/3 as it will ping before combat damage killing 1 toughness creatures and if you give him death touch will kill anything
