I think there is a mix of both self and bus powered where u can connect it to an outlet but the adapter is not given by the seller of the power can be drawn for the usb port also

My usb keeps disconnecting. If I use self powered usb hub there will not be disconnection anymore. Is that correct? Please suggest.

I've bought an USB hub which has 4 usb socket and also a small circle type socket, Is that for external power supply, but still it can run multiple devices like keybord mouse etc. I usually connect this with my mobile, and it draws it's current from my mobile, resulting draining battery fast, So should I use the external charger for the HUB

i modified a Bus powered 2.0 USB by supplying an external 2.0 Amp supply to the Hub ( of course i disconnected the power line from computer side of the USB to the hub so it is purely powered by external power. Now this device is an external powered 4 port hub. When i plug in multiple devices it only sees one device and others dont show up. may i know why?- Thanks in advance
