The game has been udated a few times since he made this video which fixed most of the bugs and glitches. It still has the snag issue he is talking about and I don't know if it still has the weight issue he was talking about because I mostly free fish. The rest of the stuff he is complaining about isn't that big of a deal. The game is really fun

Agree its shocking, the fishing in Moonglow Bay is much better. Rapala Pro Bass Fishing on the 360 was my favourite fishing game.

The biggest disappointment in this game is that there's no detailed tutorial section regarding where to find bass. This was not the case in the previous bass fishing games by dovetail.

I just bought this game yesterday on switch and I call BS on this review for 1 reason, you said you never find bass in open water. Uh, have you ever actually been fishing? You can absolutely find bass in open water, and I did in this game too.

the game has elements of fun but my major complaints: the rod handling is awkward as hell and easy to lose a fish. What in the hell is with hook tension? The gear menu is awful. Why can't I just have a storage with all my gear? why can't i just go to the shop and buy what I want? Bugged fish that are standing upright for no reason. not being able to reel in. Getting stuck on nothing. bugged where you can't raise your rod to fight a fish unless you reel. This game has the potential to be really fun but it's crap. the map system is crap. its all crap.

Played this game, really blows my mind how crappy it is compared to something like Trophy Bass 3D which is ANCIENT. Like the fish AI seems really dumb and doesn't make much sense and the lures have 0 action lol......

My game crashes after the first day of a 2 day tournament. Then crashes when I go to the locker to change my gear. Game not worth it. Especially for $45 with the deluxe package

Any experienced bass fishermen who also games will have absolutely no issue locating the fish. I literally have a spot where i catch 10 to 15lb bass on every cast 😅 If you dont believe me, post ur gamertag, and I'll teach u

Yeah dude, how DARE they add more then just bass in the game. Crappie? Catfish? Bluegill? GAR?? 🤮 What an awful idea! I personally DESPISE any fish that isn’t a bass. What terrible developers. And the fact that they force me to watch tutorials and that they force me to play battle royal? How inconsiderate of them. This is an amazing review. I completely agree that this game would be much better if they got rid of the tutorials, got rid of battle royal mode, and got rid of EVERY fish that wasn’t a bass and move said bass from open water into the foliage that I want to catch them in.

What tics me off is the animations our trash there’s no Ai summation of seasons ie patterns have no relevance how bout a fish finder from this century there’s literally no talk of present conditions seasons I played games 12 yrs ago that shits on it it’s not even fun sega was a blast to this is a product of lazy Europen developers it’s a disgusting disappointment I can’t describe how big of a hit it would be with outdoors men if if it was designed like madden the mechanics r dog shit

Bro the thing about it is every lake in real life has different fish, so that's realistic and if they made it easy people would complained about that, and bass are in ipe waters at certain times of the day and year so I bet u that is realistic

I’m buying the hard copy today as I fish competitively and have heard that this game is realistic in bass behavior, locating then based on conditions and catching them. I turned this review off after hearing the guy say you never see bass in open water. Lol I will comment again after I play it if not do my own review.

I'm going to bass, um, pass on this one. There's a mod called,"Mornin' Fins," that doubles your catch. What if they added a mode where while the player competes, some fish are trying to hook them? If you get hooked, you have to play a minigame to get unhooked, or get hurt and or lose some of your catch. With all of these bugs, where was the QA?

I enjoyed Fishing Planet (the free edition) and there was a free to play sea fishing game called World of Fishing which was amazing but they had to close it down because they couldn’t make enough money. The games are definitely not made the same anymore and they’re becoming much less enjoyable 😢
