Do not buy F411 flight controllers

I found a forum topic with name "Betaflight Too Big?" and post writing this: F405 Region Size 922K Betaflight 4.3.0 with 43,6% usage. F722 (the version with 512K not new version with 1024K) Region size 480K Betaflight Betaflight 4.3.0 with 89,5% usage. So if you don't want to use a trimmed (cloud) new Betaflight OS, then FCs with 512K will probably no longer be sufficient very soon...

I recently ordered a 405 to replace it with a 411. Not because I have problems, but simply to be sure that there will be no problems with current and new Betaflight versions on the quad that i'm currently building. However, Google Bard tells me that not all F411s should be affected. Apparently it depends on how it is constructed. And as far as I know, you can still use the incompatible F411 with the current BF with detours (cloud...). I'm also surprised that some manufacturers have just brought new F411 onto the market, even though it's no longer really suitable for the near future...

They are still fine in regard to performance, for every small craft you intend to use only in manual/acro mode. For anything else they never made much sense, since ever. F422 it's in the same place, avoid it for anything else than small full manual craft.

How about cloud build, wont you be able to download betaflight without extra features and have f411 work well?

cloud build does not solve the major problem of only 2 hardware serial ports available. As well as much lower computational capacity of F411s
