Yes same problem with double typing. I bought two one for work and later the other for home and they both do it. The only thing that has helped is replacing the keyswitch, I have replaced a total of 20 in 2 years and now waiting for more to be replaced, when the new ones arrive from Aliexpress. I really like the keyboard but the quality is tragic!

I have the exact problem with double click, I tried to fix it, but nothing work. I talked with logitech and they didnt help. Its very frustrating

Same situation, mostly for work, but sometimes for gaming.. same double type issue. For me the thorough cleaning what was useful. If i have any double type, I immediately remove the key cap, use some compressed air during clicking, and it can help. I had 6-8 key with this issue.

Cleaning helped to make some keys work , testing it on another PC with 500hz polling rate instead. Swapping to Bluetooth didn't help.

This has been my favorite keyboard ever. 18 months of heavy use so far. I may need to clean the tab key as I'm now occassionally getting a double click response.

I have the exact problem with double typing with this keyboard, I've tried EVERYTHING to fix it, but the only working solution is to use its USB extension cable and place the USB dongle very close to the keyboard. No more double type after that. But it kinda defeats the purpose of "Wireless" part if we need to place the USB receiver close to the keyboard...

I tried this, but still didn’t have any luck. Another commenter said use premium batteries which IDK what that means 😂

@@DerrickMoy You know what, you're right. It was fine for a moment but the double type happens again after a day or two, even when placing the receiver as close as possible. I guess not many people complain because this is mainly used by gamers, who might not type a lot. I use this keyboard for work and it's basically unusable at this point.

I will try this with wired g910 keyboard if double type will disapear using usb ext cable, good idea.

I dont think the problem lies within a specific keyboard, but rather within each keyswitch that logitech uses for its keyboards. I bought a G513 (Romer G Tactile) for general use at the same period of time as you probably did, and it has the same exact problem. I noticed that not using the keyboard for a month or a longer period of time, say like 6 months, kind of makes the problem go away, but I am certain that it would show up again after being used for a while.

Can confirm. I had G512 (Romer G Tactile) and it gave me exact problem in less than 2 years.

This keyboards also have a double typing issue. Even the wired ones had it. I am currently using a very cheap Thunder TGK 360 and it seems to be better than the Logitech G512.

I don't think it's a switch design issue - I've been using a G513 for many years and have NEVER had a double click issue with the tactile Romer-G switches. In fairness, I don't game much and the kb does not get much heavy abuse.

Insane problems with double clicks on the space bar. Ever so often it also triple clicks space. Very frustrating. I have the latest G-hub installed to no avail. To bad since I really like the keyboard :/

For the price this is the worst choice that you could have! RUN! I had 2 and both of them had the same Double Clicking problem in less than 2 years! And I was really lucky that one time it was before the 18 months warranty and they sent me a new one...

does anyone else have this same issue? ill be holding W to walk forward in a game and all of a sudden i'll just stop. i have to repress the key for it to start again. when this happens i notice one of the lights flash at the top of the keyboard. usiing the usb wireless connection.

Mine does the same and worse, some keys do not type, like you have to press multiple times for it to register and when it does, sometimes it double type. Very bad.

I have the exact keyboard and was having the same issues (typed this out with it) and was able to resolve the double typing by cleaning my keyboard which was very dirty with isoprop. The only issue i had afterwards was my "/" key doesnt work on my numpad (i rarely use that key anyway) . I have heard of extreme lengths of soldering new switches but even then, it might still persist and heard that it just might be a programing issue althogether with how common this issue is with other logitech keyboards models. I have had this keyboard for about 2.5 years now and had the double typing come up and resolved on the beginning of November. I do have scratches on my keycaps but only on my WASD keys lol.

I have the same issue with the Logitech G613 keyboard not going wireless. It can only be used with bluetooth now. The G Hub software doesn't even detect my keyboard. So definitely not buying another wireless keyboard from Logitech again.

This is a follow-up. Surprisingly, it now works after 3 days. I noticed in G Hub that the keyboard gear was showing but as inactive. So I hit the wireless button and the keyboard came online. It's so odd, and a bit frustrating that the keyboard glitched. On the day of the issue, I installed new batteries. I guess letting it reset itself with fresh batteries worked.

@@DerrickMoy Some AA batteries run at 1.5v, others at 1.2v. Either way, using 1.5v AA batteries only seems to be solving about 10% of peoples issues.

It's a deeper problem than that. There's a reddit post that points to circuit board problems. Repeated typing creates micro tears in the soldering because it uses a one-sided PCB. Definitely a manufacturing defect and way to drop the ball Logitech
