Great vid bro. We need more of these, there are literally millions of fakes on the black and grey market. You forgot to compare underneath the atomiser head, real Rojas have a distinct double mechanism that gives out a very fine and measured spray.

Great highlight of this problem - really admire the work you've put in to warning others about this. I wish eBay would do more about this - I purchased an Andy Tauer L'air du desert Morocain 'genuine' sampler from eBay - I was suspicious as it smelt very cheap and without depth so then purchased a full size bottle from l'Essenteurs and the difference couldn't have been greater. Seller on eBay point blank denied it was a fake, but did refund. eBay's policies to report fakes seemed weak to say the least. I hope this gets a million views!

From my knowledge, fake Roja Parfums are on the market since april 2017, since then the number of fake Rojas increased a lot and I mean a lot. I still did not manage to make a real vs fake on Roja Parfums, but I will. Fakes are not only "testers", there are those that are not tester labeled as well. Also there are boxes that mimic the authentic ones, not only those simple white "tester" bottles.

Well done and thanks for making such a video.... I recognized a site I've bought from in the past, fragranceX... Where is Notino US when you need them... This is crazy... I recognized a seller on eBay whom I bought a fragrance from recently... I haven't received the fragrance nor has he responded to messages I have sent. I had checked his other list (items being sold) and saw that same Roja Musk Aoud tester selling for over $300. The scary thing is he has a high percent of positive feedback so people will buy it because of that.

Paper labels are part of their Roja history right? They have made them in the past and many. They are considered vintage collectable items. I would not say all paper labels are fake. I have seen some amazing paper labels that just are different than the current version, better and stronger .

Simple, buy directly from Roja's website or from an authorized dealer. This applies to ALL perfume houses. I'm guessing a large % of all perfumes bought by the "fragrance community" from Grey market sellers, eBay, etc are fake. I've seen on Basenotes, members saying things like: "What! there are fakes out there?! I've purchased 95% of my collection from Fragrance___.com and eBay."

I just bought CK one for the second time recently from a same Parfum Store Brand in different mall location. When I compared the bottles they were really different. The batch codes have different type of coding. One consists 4 digit numbers, the other has a Letter and number combination. The bottom bottles are different too. One has grinding pattern the other has not. The neck of the bottle are different too. So it's very confusing. I hope you can also make some more videos about this problem. Btw Good job, man.. When it comes to super cheap scents like calvin klein they are constantly changing their bottles, contracts from bottle suppliers change they constantly try to buy the cheapest supplier they can so they can make the most money so I doubt anyone would fake CK one its too cheap you cant make any money, when it comes to roja dove its different the bottles are very high end glass and wont have any major differences from one to the next.

I don't really know what the deal is but I have decants from bergdorf goodman and these are exactly the same scent. Same scent smell and performance. Usually fakes are absolute crap when it comes to the scent.

Could be that the knock off of Amber Aoud that you're talking about is a closer clone than the other scents that are being counterfeited. People that have the Amber Aoud paper label bottles in hand are saying that they are very close to the real thing scent-wise, but being close to the real thing and actually being the real thing are obviously way different. You wouldn't want to pay $300+ for a rare batch of Aventus and get a clone that's close to it, you'd want the real thing.

Anybody here buy a Roja 7.5 ml Discovery atomizer from a USA dealer? I received one that looks VERY suspect when compared to the authentic atomizers I’ve ordered directly from the Roja website. Completely different box- not the nicely made, thick rectangular drawer style case, but a thin, cheap square tall shape with a hole to push the bottle into plus the huge print clear stickers on the box and the bottle were sketchy and all put on crooked. Looking carefully at Roja's signature on the bottle: Many eBay/other sellers items have a darker colour gold and the tiny dot to the right of the name is farther away on the lower line. On Roja's website that dot is close to the top line and the gold is much brighter. ** I was scammed-ask me who sold it- you may be surprised...
