I couldn't agree more. For any top shelf fragrance including the higher end niche as well as Dior, Armani and especially Chanel, stick with the authorized retailers and maybe Fragrancenet for Dior titles you can't get in the USA (although Selfridges in the UK ships worldwide). When Macy's offers their 15% off sales, they're cheaper than the discounters for Armani and Chanel. I bought a few Armani fragrances when Armani's USA site offered a 40% discount code last month.

@@Redolessence Steve - sometimes even a perfect bottle isn't an indication. Empty or partially filled bottles can be refilled by pulling off the nozzle, and using a needle and syringe to refill the bottle. n sloppy cases, the cap of the bottle can be used to remove the atomizer to just pour in liquid. I have a feeling that comparative cheapies like Armaf's CDNI Men were being refilled, resealed and resold and that's why some were complaining that it was weak.

Or just know what your doing. My entire collection comes from ebay and internet Haha. Yes I get fakes maybe 20to 30 out of 700 plus purchases. Worth the risk imo. Open case and claim in professional manner and get it squared away.

Steven please help me with this. I recently bought a fragrance from the mall (Perfumania) and it was Ch Men Carolina Herrera. I had it sprayed on my arm by a tester and liked it so much I went and bought it the next day. When I got home I realized the cellophane was open from the bottom, however this could’ve happened during shipping to the store , and the batch code would not work when I checked it online. The batch code is D2331. It smells similar I’ve yet to test performance but I’m very worried because the thing was sort of open and I noticed this when I got home so obviously going in and claiming this would be suspicious. Not sure if they sell fake recent formulation/bottle design CH men what should I do?

I just found out about fragrance reviews on KZbin, you and Carlos are 2 of my favorite reviewers. So, there’s so many that I want to get. I have purchased off eBay before, I rarely will now as I can use fragrancenet and maxaroma and know I’ve never been scammed. Tips look at feedback and I hate to say it but only buy from sellers in the US. I always try to find sellers who have 99+ positive feedback, who’ve been on eBay for multiple years and that feedback. Always a risk but it can be minimized.

Sure are a lot of "testers" being sold in the facebook room even though Roja does not sell testers. Price is not always indicative of a fake. With millions of people losing jobs I've seen and made some crazy deals but it is a big red flag
