All trading cards, regardless of franchise, are a scam anyway. They're just card and ink, sometimes a bit of foil. They literally cost pennies to make and the rest is pure profit. Only gullible people with too much money buy trading cards. Don't get me wrong, I've been that gullible person and fallen for their scam before, myself. When I was a kid I had lots of Pokemon cards then, as a teenager, I bought and played with Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I wouldn't buy them as an adult though. They're just a complete waste of money.

I've seen worse at Target sadly. A while back I bought a $15 box that said it came with 8 foil 2 which were guaranteed ex and 60 cards. 5 of the foil cards were the world championship deck cards that are unusable including a shaymin ex. 5he other 3 were random reverse. At least 40 of the 60 cards were energy. And probably half of the remaining 20 were the championship cards

@@scottbrown3225 if you don't know, a lot of Pokemon are dual type, it's just that they only show one type on the card. A shiny Pokemon is a different color than it's normal form. For example, regular azumarill is blue, while the shiny one is yellow.

I back in 2006, worked for a company based out of California that sold tcg and sports cards via displays at Sports Authority, KB Toy, EB Games (lol...the company much like those three, or at least the first two, not sure but the third may have in the US sold out to GameStop) as well as select Wal-Mart locations, but I don't recall them ever selling "thrift market" box sets like that. Getting Pokemon cards here in Peru is pretty darn hard, though I did find a nifty lil place that had the tins at a $6.5 sale, and $6 sale on Sun and Moon starter decks, Pokeball Tin + Zoroark Pin Collection box at $20, so that's awesome, still no Eevee and Eevolutions stuff though, sad.
