I still have 12000 mils in mine, only city back and forth from home to my job, once and a while we go some where far but basically only highway mils probably around 25000mls I will do the trans change. Now, I am going to check the transfer case and see at what mileage I have to do the fluid change. I was checking another guy with a very good video in KZbin doing the transmission fluid change, very nice and easy to remove the filter, just pull out and push in... super easy!, 👌 Have a blessed day!!!

Why do you say you only need 2 quarts of differential fluid when Honda says the diff holds 3.3 quarts?

I did what my manual said for the Ridgeline 2021, also I did remove 2 and a little bit and I did install 2 and a little bit, no matter what they say the quantity you remove is what you have to add back, just buy 3 or 4 bottles and measure in and out if you have a doubt, from my part I am certain of what I did. 3.3 quarts is for transmission fluid change, this is for differential oil change.

It's a crush washer. It crushes down when tightened. Cannot be reused.
