I went twice to Pondicherry. Never faced such problems that you highlighted. I visited in December 2023 and August 2024. Luckily there was no rains when I visited. The restaurants do close a little early. We got our homework done before visiting. So we did not have problem with that. Did not face communication issues. Not sure why your experience was not good. We had great vacation time there.

@@giturani2421 Mam Pondicherry weather is hot throughout the year. Even in December. Take lots of fluids and avoid travelling during the day.

Sorry dude I'm from delhi...and I feel safe here ...I'm studying in pondicherry...here u can find many French and other country people cuz it's french influence...so may be some one could face for that not all the time it's bad....I m here with no problem and no worries....u can find many country's people mixed here ...best place for me❤❤

I am from west bengal, my daughter lives in pondicherry for work. I go there sometimes and spend quite a while. No problem anywhere you can visit Pondicherry without worry.
