Be confident of what you´re doing and know that at the end of the day, it´s a job, so put the right amount of profesionalism into it.

Nothing worse than we I was casting a film and the actors email you constantly if they got the part of want to know why you didn’t get it and get mad like omg it’s not always our choice there are a lot of factors involved 😵💫

Latecomers are continually cast over people that show up on time. The on timers are thrown into the audition room early, with not a moment to center, even though they’ve given themselves that time by arriving early. The late actor arrives with time to chill, goes in the room, and ends up being cast. Every time. This being on time advice is useless. Directors don’t care.

Hi Paul, Thanks for the comment. As an actor if you arrive to an audition early and they want to immediately bring you in the room and you aren't ready. You can let them know you need a minute to settle in. If the audition time is 1:25pm, a professional actor should be signed in and ready to walk in the room at 1:25pm. An actor showing up late to their audition will absolutely annoy casting directors.
