"Overcapping" is a strategically smart thing to do. It allows you to actually play the game for more than 30 mins at a time... When you hit zero energy, the game enters heavy scam mode for your wallet. You say the words "don't overcap your energy..." I hear you saying "Free to play players should not be here! Pay to play or get out!" Everything else you pointed out are absolutely true, but energy should be pushed up as high as you can get it at all times. That way when a farm heavy event comes up, you can replay button as much as humanly possible to keep up with pay to play players. ;) I like your content but the way.

The main message is : don't exceed the cap of you don't use it quickly, and you have the choice to store the energy in another way. So you use the recharge while you don't play and have extra energy when you do play. I recommend to store energy until you have double xp.

I agree with nearly everything stated in this video save for energy expenditure. Weekends, I spend an average of four to six hours a day playing, constantly grinding campaigns and dungeons, hitting CB and doing dailies. Weekdays, it's mostly dailies and CB with a few hits on completely monthly/weekly goals and challenges. Currently I am level 38 and have in excess of 14k energy simply from recurring rewards,and that takes into account spending energy to the tune of about 2-300 daily and a minimum of twice that on weekends. So, unless the energy expenditure and reward so is after a certain level, I see no reason to control my energy spending at this point.

Here’s a few tips... Pick Kael, lvl to 60, complete campaign, don’t worry about artifact set bonuses just use what has the best stats, careful when picking masteries that increase your turn meter or grant speed because this can mess with your champs turn rotation.

Your logic on the energy makes no sense to me. I am constantly over my max and I am not hindered at all if anything I have the freedom to use more of I so choose and not be capped with a certain amount that I can blow through in ten minutes and then ha e to wait for it to regenerate

His logic is geared toward maximum efficiency. When your energy is above your cap, you are not constantly regenerating energy. So ultimately the most efficient thing to do, is use all of your energy as fast as possible, so you get to the point where the game is naturally generating energy for you at a rate of 1 energy every 3 minutes. And yes, to your point, it's not as fun to have to wait a couple hours and then only get to do 10-15 missions, but those 10-15 extra missions every 2-3 hours are missions you never would have done if you just let your energy stay above your cap without using it.

Over time using all your energy gives you the freedom to actually progress more because you're regenerating energy once you're under your cap. Yeah maybe it's less fun to only be able to do a couple missions every hour, but it's more efficient in progressing your account because you're getting free energy back instead of staying above the cap.

Because lets say you have 500/90 energy you won't gain the energy per 4 minutes meaning you're losing out on energy in the long run. Use all energy as soon as you can but do it in a smart way. Try using energy to rankup your champions/farm gear and champs and so on. Redeeming all your energy (unless the energy will be deleted) is useless.

I'll never understand the concept of staying below your maximum energy so you don't "lose" the free regenerated energy. If you have over the max, so what? Use it when you can play and when you're done playing you will begin regenerating energy if you're below the max. But seriously, it's not like you're penalized for having "too much" energy.

The free energy per minute doesn't go above max for example, you have 500/90 energy you won't go to 501/90 energy every time the 1 free energy procs. Where as lets say you're at 28/90 energy and the free energy procs you'll go to 29/90. Its something that will really help in the long run.

It just makes no sense to fret over staying under the max, unless you are treating the game like a job and in that case it becomes no fun so again, what's the point?

I still don't understand why it's so important to not overcap energy... As i see it, you are not getting energy for free, you are wasting energy to get that little energy for free, what if there is a level up event going on? you wont have energy to level up your champions because you are trying to keep it blow generation values, besides, if you lower your energy to 1 and get a refill you will waste the generation time so you better leave the game and come back later or only do arena. waiting for the energy to refill to you max, and then over cap energy to do the level up or again get down to 0 and wait hours for it refile for free again... I guess you can deplete your energy down to 0 before closing the game, as when you are away the energy will refill, but again when you come back you will waste the energy that caped to max, so what i am saying is you don't gain or lose anything by over cap energy as that stored energy may work for you later. My method is getting in the game with the 100% energy overcap energy do the quest of the day, grinding level for the fodder champs, deplete all that over caped energy down below 80% of free energy , do arena till you get back to 100% then train your fodder till you reach 0. over night the energy will replete, next day do the same. About arena, you will still lose arena points if your defense team lose battles, its the same as if you lose in active mode, so losing a battle in arena wont punish you at all, it will only keep you in the rank your power level is and there is nothing you can do about that other than keep improving, I have fight in arenas againts teams with superior power level than me and still manage to win, of course i also lose, but you learn from losing battles, you see how other teams better then you make their progress so you get ideas on how to round up your team. you win or lose its all a gain, better if you win though as at least you can get a medal to upgrade your great hall. i am f2P i take this game easy, for entertainment, yes it's fun, yes i like it, a little tedious the amount of grinding, but i don't really give a crap of getting the best champions or win every single battle, Guess that is important to some people, but not for me. I join a clan, I fight the clan boss dude because one of the missions said to join a clan, and later another of getting 3 stars, to do that i need to fight the clan boss dude, and that guy is unkillable, even in easy; don't understand what is the point of it. Did i mention i am in my 3erd week of gameplay?

yeah every 3 minutes you are over the cap you are losing 1 free energy, which may not seem like much, but it adds up to be a lot of free energy over time. I would try to work on farming more and claiming rewards less until you can somehow get below the cap.

I had 110-120 mil or so until the last artifact events haha, I just save more then I spend and make sure I ALWAYS have enough silver for a big artifact event at any time.
