It's so much fun! Play though some campaigns, then against the AI. Whenever you feel like, jump on multiplayer and play some games. Expect to lose 10-12. But it will give you your elo and you'll play people similar to your skill level. I'm low elo and I have a blast!

A16 missed out so hard turning that little island into japan using a wonder. He would've absolutely been able to keep those guys off water as they were so absorbed with their friendship they didnt even have full upgrades

yeah the wonder totally slipped my mind because, to say the least, I was horrified at the stone prices (they were over 1k gold at that point) even if I did remember, by the time I'd get the wonder up (considering I have to make a TC and make more vills, plus prevent demos from making me panic further), the relic timer would have been at 100 years or less but eh, is how it is sometimes

In regards to casting other games, I think that works better for playing than casting. If you were going to play a variety of games (think RTGame) then it works well, but for casting I think you're better off specializing in something you know well that you can build a community around like AoEII.

What happened is exactly why you can't turn on purple despite him being in position to win. As soon as he goes down it's 2 v 3 and you lose anyways. You have to convince two of the others to turn on the 3rd on the condition you turn on purple. Now galaxy brain would be to somehow turn them all against each other but that's beyond me.

Whenever you start relic victory,make a wonder or have the monument you immediately put yourself in everybody's attentio. The outcome would have been the same when the first fights started to happen, fighting would cool down slowly and then orange and yellow would have betrayed him.

Mayan eagles are the best overall and outperform in almost every aspect, Aztec eagles are a bit squishy but are the best raiders due to quickly killing villagers and buildings, and Incan eagles are absolutely terrible and underperform in almost every aspect besides tanking specifically arbalest fire, anything more than 11 pierce attack and Mayans are better with more hp. Incas also don't terribly outperform Aztecs under those conditions as well because Aztecs kill much, much faster, so it's specifically tanking arbalest fire.

Interesting at the start and a sloppy slug in the end! Not because it was long but because it was uneventful. Orange Wonder? Nope. Red fights blue and orange surrenders? No, we buttlick and feel good. Red and blue commit to water? No, we gud. So many ways to do something interesting. And thing is - orange tried a way out, but the buttlicker team likes it slow and sloppy. What an embarrassment.
