I’ve lived in Oklahoma almost all my life. Was on Sooner road when May 3rd tornado hit within 30 minutes. Watched May 19 tear up the GM plant (OKC) from a half mile away. I’ve had them go North, South and over me within a block and many more within a mile. They will not hurt you if you aren’t directly in their path. I lived in Florida for less than two years and there are more there. Hurricanes are much worse. OKC lets you watch them live in the afternoon. Tulsa gets them later in the evening. I like seeing them in daylight where I know they aren’t coming at me. Live with a hill to your west and north. Where I live now, the tornadoes have hit a mile north and south. The rain literally splits away from my house for the most part. I have lived here for 58 years.

It's not just tornadoes that we get. It seems we get 5.1 magnitude earthquakes as well. After moving from CA, I thought I wouldn't have to worry about earthquakes. Nope, I was wrong.

Bet you are sick of talking about Tornados already LOL. Can't believe it's coming up on two years living here and only had a few crazy storms. But defiantly is a bit freaky! But these videos are really nice to learn more about them :)
