I so wanted to move here but because of the extreme heat I decided not to. I had only taken a few trips during the winter months and was 100% convinced that I wanted to move there. So, I took a trip last year during the summer months to see if I could handle it and I just couldn't. The heat was so, so bad, I would probably compare to that feeling when you open the oven and feel that wave of heat hit your face but just all over. I just wanted to stay indoors and I was miserable.

Good thinking to come test the summer!! Most of my clients will happily deal with the summers to not deal with the winters where they are coming from. And they take vacations during our summers to shorten the time spent here in the heat. 😊

Great information about Arizona & Scottsdale 🥳….You didn’t mention the Javelinas 🐖….Which I have seen them walk through my Condo complex on too many occasions to count!🥴 I do live in North Scottsdale & I absolutely love living up here. But I wouldn’t encourage anyone else to move here because it’s getting way to crowded…MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

The real estate prices were fine in 2018. I got my place then and am so happy it appreciated almost double.😍 if you like sun, AZ is the sunshine state not Florida. AZ summer is hot but it’s better than 7 months of winter in the northeast where I lived 57 years.

It can be 115, but its not that temp all day long, which is what is implied when one talks about temps. Usually later in the afternoon is when the high temp sets in, but only for a few hours. Thats right, it actually cools off to 99 heh.

Great great can u say more bad things about Scottsdale so stop moving !!!!!! And you coyotes or jabalinas , sneaks n the north you see them everywhere n Walmart you will it n the parking lot n bobcats u can see them n the yards too not only n the north side . Is like California u see bears . You forgot the monsoon season!!!! Is like hurricane So is the same damage trees , cars damage ,floods Arizona is beautiful but it like any other place it has the bad part too and temperature is more 120 not 115 it can get to 123 n there’s is records and you know is more then 120 or 123 but hey Yuma is hotter then Phoenix n Scottsdale etc is hotter. North of Arizona is cooler weather but not 80 n summer is hot too so please move somewhere also another state don’t damage Arizona anymore with too much construction wildlife is getting hurt 😞 that’s why they are all over looking for food n where the green is gonna go ?????????? Nobody think about that !!! They just about money u go ruin a place n then move somewhere also but that damage is there n nobody cares !!!!! And yes animals are everywhere I can find a snake n ur own house apartment how got there well is the desert 🌵 they find the way it can b in the water heater room under the sink , cabinets everywhere .

I think the culture of Scottsdale should be addressed also. Rich people, most have had plastic surgery, etc.

There's a lot of inconspicuous consumption in Scottsdale for sure...people in Texas have money but much more humble and conservative.
