I feel like there are two different reactions a natural reaction (for example you see a car coming at you and you run away) and an unnatural reaction (for example when you’re triggered if someone calls you names or that you have an argument with, and you want to protect your self made identity) And how to not react if you feel like your triggered. In my story awareness comes after the reaction. Please your insight.. have a great day🌻💫 with love

The mention of the “great I AM” in the Bible. I can’t help but wonder: is this a reference to the Consciousness? Did we misunderstand it and miss that? Are there other mentions of the concept of the I AM in other cultures and texts?

Question: Everything you say resonate really clear with my perspecive. In a mental level i try naturally to understand it, i think like „it“ is the 0 dimension wich includes every others to embody. It makes really sense because when i let go i feel pure bright peace and space. But the 0 dimension (koncept) has nothing to do with this deep feeling of beeing actually although it makes sense Because of this knolwedge and deeper thinking of reality i truggle a bit to feel this unnameable the problem is that i think i know this feeling ❤

Don't try to cling to a feeling. Awareness is not something you have to cling to because you are it. :) No need to understand something intellectually.

If you are triggered you react, if something happens you react. But I feel like those are two different things like a natural reaction and when you’re triggered when you have an argument with someone and you react that feels more unnatural. There are no "pre-awakening" habits, in my view. Awakening isn’t something that comes with certain habits and goes with others.

@@ascendor.ascendor Yeah I get what you're saying, but you know, sometimes people make me start stressing out about things I stopped stressing out about by myself since awakening, and I need to find a quiet and lonely place to calm down again. I never stress out like that when I'm just by myself, even if I do the same things. But I find other people's unhealthy behavior contagious sometimes.

@@corykeeler2655 Yeah, the thing is, we are taught that we are an ego by other people and they act like they are. Human behavior is "contagious" because we are social animals, and if everyone around me behaves like they have an ego, I will start to do so as well if I don't pay attention. And I'm not sure how to deal with it, maybe meditate every morning or something.

@@firstaidsack The people around you are simply doing what they do, just like the waves in the ocean are what they are. You can’t judge these people because they’re part of the same ocean that you’re made of. When you find yourself in a situation where you feel triggered, that’s actually the perfect moment to turn inward and ask yourself: Do I really need a technique to handle this trigger, or can I just fully feel it without seeing it as an enemy? I know it sounds difficult, but people can only trigger parts of you that you haven’t made peace with yet. For example, if someone is completely identified with veganism and gets triggered the moment someone mentions eating meat, that vegan can only find peace once they let go of their resistance to what is and accept that, for now, there are people who love eating meat. I know many would ask if this means we should accept things like war or other terrible events. The simple answer is yes - right now, war exists, and feeling triggered about it doesn’t change the fact. But that doesn’t mean you can’t do something about it. Often, you can only start changing something (whether in your personal life or on a global scale) once you’ve made peace with what is. From that place of inner peace, you can act from a natural, effortless flow and make meaningful change. I totally understand what you mean. I used to get angry quickly because I took things personally when others spoke out of a bad mood. But now I realize that people are often unconsciously projecting their bad moods onto others, unaware that these feelings are coming from within themselves. Because of that, I don’t judge them anymore; instead, I try to respond with as much love as possible. And when I do, they often feel caught off guard, because the anger they tried to project onto me gets reflected back to them. This human dream is a fascinating game, isn’t it? :)

I saw a recent video by a guy who makes none duality videos and he said he's stopping making videos because he recently experienced being without a body and he said his experience was completely fresh and new all the time. He said he lost all his human connection to everything though like familiarity, likes, dislikes etc. Basically everything that makes us human and he was just experiencing life for what it was. He said it wasn't good though and he had to get help to rebuild himself. It sounded to me like an experience I had many years ago which was like psychosis/depersonalisation. To me it sounded more like solipsism. I'm assuming the actual realisation is a lot more simple than that and lacks any confusion at all?

What you're describing sounds like someone who has obsessively tried to dismantle their sense of self to the point of psychological harm, in a misguided attempt to "lose" their identity. I recently saw a video that touched on this same issue. Maybe we even saw the same one. However, in my view, nonduality isn't about forcibly dissolving the self. It's about returning to a natural state, where the constant drive to seek or "find" something falls away. J. Krishnamurti described dualism as the conflict between reality as it is and the imagined reality the mind creates, which doesn’t truly exist. This inner conflict is what generates suffering. Nonduality is about seeing through the mind’s illusion without getting caught in it. The problem is that many nondual teachers say things like "there's no self" or "it's an illusion to think you exist" - which is true to an extent, but when misunderstood, it can lead people to treat their sense of self like something toxic they need to eliminate. The "self" is really just a collection of thoughts, not an actual identity, but trying to forcefully get rid of it can cause psychological harm. Nonduality isn't about erasing yourself. It’s about relaxing the mental habits that create endless searching and dissatisfaction in the first place.

Can you define consciousness and awareness? Is consciousness what thoughts appear in, and awareness is what can see that appearance? Which one are we and what are the differences?

What you are is consciousness, awareness is just another label for consciousness. You are the witness of all your thoughts, emotions, pleasures, pain, everything you’re looking at! Your entire life you are just a WATCHER. You are not your body, thoughts, emotions, pains, pleasure. We are NOTHING that’s the joke Who is it that’s aware of what you’re looking at? Who is the I beyond your name?

I wouldn’t worry about the background noise, just let it go and enjoy the teaching. Actually you can use it as a tool to transcend, not holding on or pushing away, just allow it to be there without focusing on it. We can have peace amongst the chaos.😊

Am I doing something wrong when I am meditating and after there Is no more mine chatter then my mine go complete silence. Where there is no more thinking in the mind. Am I doing something wrong??? 🤔
