One thing we’ve found in my online dynasty, if a wr is maxed out, switch them to rb during position changes, let them go through off season training and then change them back to wr at start of season. Changes their archetype to deep threat automatically but they will improve and use all unused points.

Moral of the Story: Dev Traits + Stat Caps rule All; archetype does not matter for most positions (some do matter a lot). Gems are safer for better traits, but not full-proof.

What people don’t understand is overall is deceiving.. They have WRs who are playmakers with a lot of elusive caps vs route running caps which in a lot of cases is better depending on the offense, guys who have 90spin and juke will be mid 80’s route running which is fine in a spread offense.. Get those guys in space and let em work, this definitely isn’t a one size fits all deal..
