Asuba bawana (අසුබ භාවනාව) directly translated to English as "Inauspicious meditation". As a buddhist I can agree with the 3rd explanation. No, its not about necrophilia. According to buddhist philosophy our body is comprised of 32 different disgusting things such as skin, flesh, bones, blood, saliva, tears, mucus etc. If we see those things separately, we feel disgusted by them. But we see only the beauty when they are combined as a man/woman. So when we get attracted to someone, in reality we are attracted to those 32 disgusting ingredients that make our body. This is the darkest meditation practised by a buddhist and yes it could cause suicidal thoughts in one after seeing the disturbing truth. So you'd better meditate at your own risk.

Watch the video on monkey attacks that Shrouded Hand made. It may give a little insight on all the monkey hate stuff. Personally, any torture or abuse of any animal makes me sick and I would never watch it.
@sexygirlmax20197 ай бұрын
It doesn't matter and dare I say it's not even causation and is just correlation. Doesn't provide much insight at all. It's literally these people's faults for abusing these animals, feeding them making them unafraid of humans, making them demanding of humans and aggressive, even stealing their babies under the guise of "rescuing" these monkeys. These poor babies grow up in horrible mental conditions and always have to wear a diaper and they never mature. They're traumatized. *Literally* humans fucking around and finding out. I don't feel pity for the "victims" of these attacks and it doesn't justify people going online and writing damn near sexual comments about monkey hate videos. It's zoosadism/animal crushing which nearly always has a sexual component. It doesn't justify animal abuse. It's like saying that abuse victims defending themselves against their abusers is a REASON that they should be abused. That's what's happening. Innocent animals defending themselves against humans and then being hurt and even murdered for it. You can see the same type of horrible comments on porn or even (simulated or real) snûff. This detached way of talking mostly from older men who either can't tell or don't care if its real or not. They don't care if people or animals are getting hurt it's just lust. They ARE attracted to animal abuse and often child abuse. Because it's a placeholder for children so it's free 🌽 for them. P3dos talk the same way about their victims (speaking as a victim not a perpetrator obviously).

I do not actively search, but when presented, I allow myself to feel. You don't know the context of a murder, but if it's filmed, it's evil and usually used politically. Learn. Never become this way. TL;DR: The third explanation for asuba bawana is the correct one. The "Bawana" means meditation (from the Sanskrit "bhāvanā" meaning "development", "cultivating",or "producing"). Based on the videos, it was a playlist of all the different aspects of the body related to morality and disgust, towards which Buddhists are called to develop detachment and equanimity. You focus on the disgust and distaste for this things until achieving indifference to them, easing your attachment to their positive opposites. It's not about removing some deep sick twisted desire, it's about removing attachments to beauty, health, and the inevitably mortal self and others, in line with Buddhist philosophy, by focusing attention and thought on those things we most viscerally and instinctually avoid focusing on. >t. I'm Buddhist.

@user-mn9wc5ru5w7 ай бұрын
6:16 why is it important to stay respectful of repulsive or abhorrent behavior and beliefs? Something being a part of another person's "culture" does not place it above criticism. Colombia and Spain have age of consent set at 14. Philippines is 12. Nigeria is 11. The culture in these countries allows for pedophilia. 98% of girls in Somalia have been the victim of genital mutilation, which is a component of their culture. Liberia still practices cannibalism and ritual human sacrifice among military leaders as part of their culture. These are all vile, disgusting, reprehensible behaviors that cannot be morally justified. Shielding these vulgar practices and beliefs by claiming that cultural norms should all be respected is a very, very stupid thing to do. Obviously having curiosity about autopsy and gore videos is nowhere near the moral transgression that something like having sex with children is, but the principle is the same - bad behavior is bad behavior and compelling others to respect bad behavior simply because it's someone else's culture is a disservice to humanity and also to oneself.

one disturbing thing I found on youtube once was a playlist called woman and animals, it was just a bunch of vids of woman slaughtering animals and while I do understand making such a video for educational porpuses, the comments were very VERY weird like people asking if the woman on those videos felt pleasure killing the animals or how they liked seeing the animals get sliced

Great video. I never knew that these subjects were on KZbin, for awhile I just look up how to beat a level on a game but now have started to see what's different on KZbin. I use to have the brick wall screen saver on my computer when I was in highschool, funny seeing it show up at times during the video.

Is there any chance I could ask you a few pointers to help my channel..for various reasons, a normal job isn't an option for me. So I'm really trying this youtube thing. I'd greatly appreciate it
