Do Not Think | Drawing As Meditation

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! And Welcome to Lisbon, Portugal.
In April, I was in Lisbon, leading the workshop "Capture The Lisbon Wow" alongside my friend Cynthia Morris, who is an amazing author, coach, and artist. Join me in the beautiful city of Lisbon as I climb its steep streets and share some creative vibes.
Today, Cynthia and I will go for coffee and a sketch, and she'll share a fantastic draw tip for this week's Draw Tip Tuesday.
Cynthia's tip is all about not thinking-using drawing as a way to meditate and get into the flow. She even shares some of her beautiful sketchbook pages filled with vibrant colors and unique compositions.

Drawing and painting can be very relaxing. Just put your mind in neutral and drive on. Your mind will take over and leave that which stresses you out of your concerns. Much better than drugs.
