Thank you for a great year of videos. The first time I sketched in public, I went to the zoo and sketched the rhinos. It was a great experience. The only person that asked what I was doing was a little boy who was so excited that he could look at my picture. So my sketchbook then went on a cross country 5 week trip with my husband and I.

Thanks for all these videos! I watch week. I agree with all you said about drawing in public. One way to be a little more sneaky is to not move your head up and down. Find a position in which you can see both subject and page by just moving your eyes. Happy New Year

Thanks for the pep up talk, dear Koosje! I really felt like you are talking to me, this is exactly how I feel about drawing in a café! But I am proud to say I already tried it out and it was fun. Indeed no one cared and the only issue was that the waitresses were constantly trying to remove my almost empty plate while I was drawing it 🤣 I had to fight hard to keep it! This was a fun challenge! I drew a small turtle figurine each day. I took it further by making the picture out if cubes one day. (I was aiming for cubism but it looks more like minecraft!) Then, to finish, I drew a melted turtle!
