You have that extra health bar when you start in God form anyways, the only reason I personally think it's better to start in god form is because you don't have to go through the effort of having him transformed. Single battles don't last that long, it would be good to do it your way if he was in a dp battle

as the top comment said, starting as normal toppo is better normally ALSO: he is one of the few characters that can spam ki-blasts infinitely outside of sparking mode - while also having more damage on them than every vegeta (who are almost all the other ki-spamming-characters). hes secretly one of if not the best ki blast users in the game.

Sphere of destruction is actually blockable. Unblockable moves are characterized by the black action effects that you briefly see when the move starts up around the edge of the screen. That effect means the move is unblockable. Sphere of destruction doesn't have that effect so it is blockable.
