I think that goes for most of the big arcs in One Piece 😂. Toei made it so EXCRUCIATINGLY slow. From the extended reactions of various NPC and lead performers, (Momo) Some kids and even adults whining about not being able to do something, and the notorious flashback/recap scenes. Really, the best well paced parts of the anime are the ones that get their well deserved 1-2 full fight episode(s). Think Sanji and the Zoro's last fight with Queen and King in Wano. ❤

@@Ikfrrrgoofy question watch the anime dude, the live action doesn't even have a fraction of the show's lore, but you can watch both but the live action has changed up alot of key aspects of the story entirely so you a better off watching the anime to know the real story and then watch the live action for fun or watch it while you watch the anime on spare time or you can start the live action after you get done with alabasta but still finish the anime/get caught up regardless

My guess is that those 4:5 people were challenging themselves to watch 100 episodes of one piece -to which they then succeeded and gave up the show. If it was any other number; say 104 or 96, it would be more likely for it to have been a bad episode, but 100 probably means people were pushing themselves to watch it so they could say they did; without having to watch all 1000+.

I see this discourse a lot and all I want to ask is, why do people act like manga doesn't exist? It's literally the solution to all of the anime-related problems. Bad pacing? Too dragging? Too much fillers or flashbacks? Just go read the manga, and (depend on your reading speed) you can reach chapter 1000+ in just two weeks (personal experience) or even less Also, if you think a certain arc is boring (Skypiea, for example), engaging with the manga will allow you to skim or speed-reading all those chapters so you don't really miss out important details and foreshadowing. Read, folks.
