I just left a warehouse job a month ago and the vibes in my daily life are so much better now! Most of what you said is on point. I was definitely around a lot of miserable people and there was hardly if any intellectualism there whatsoever. Most of the people were rather unintelligent and only cared about dumb and insignificant stuff and any time I tried to talk about anything intelligent or interesting people would just look at me like I spoke Chinese. There were a few others like me that I could relate to but not most of the people there that’s for sure lol. Well now I’m working on growing myself and my artwork and making leaps and bounds towards doing art full time and have been staying down in Austin, TX to do art for the time being so I shall see where life takes me now.

It’s not just in the warehouses. It’s everywhere. I’ve done worked janitorial jobs and I see/ hear people talking behind other peoples backs. People I don’t even know. Even I’ve done seen this in the church too which is the least expected place to find drama. Evil is everywhere man. The only thing we can really do is just wait for Jesus to return back. In the meantime just keep your head high and believe that he will take care of you. This world is wicked beyond belief and it’s only going to get worse. Just look at the news. It’s more and more bad events happening on a daily now hourly basis now. We in the end times. All we can is pray for God to protect us and keep us safe. The United States is under attack, the economy is crashing as we speak and the job markets are looking less and less hopeful. Things are darker and uncertain but all we can do is have faith. Trust in God and he will provide for I needs in whichever ways he can. God works in mysterious ways. Prayers to you and God bless you🙏

I had bad experience with warehouse first one I had I quit the vibe felt weird and I feel like ppl had shit to say to me but didn’t want to say it like you was mentioning, second one I fired cause of safety and when I tried to explain to them why that one day they didn’t want to hear it and I got fed up with them said my peace they got intimidated and the third one I had and last was a 10 hours shift left after 3 days so I know exactly what you mean.

I was an order picker for a few years in a warehouse. Now, I still work here but as a cleaner. Less money, less stress. Let me tell you guys this, as cocky as it sounds, if you know you can do more than this, I mean, if you're kind of smart, this job will destroy mentally more than it will physically. Where I work, we are about 300 people per shift and believe me when I say it's full or self-centred and insecure morons. Many of them can barely say their names in English, it's beyond me how they even pass the interview. Don't even mention understanding the safety rules of the place. We are all in a big crap pile, but this guy drives an FLT and you're an order picker? He is more important than you, so you better know your place or whatever. Everybody thinks they're THE shit and it's their birth right to go first, even though there are rules to be followed. If you're ready to break your back lifting, be bored by the repetitive work and be disrespected by lazy clowns, then this is the job for you. I too am an idiot because I still work there. A warehouse is a place to go for a few months, that's it.

Been almost 4 months now, the job I'm at is definitely taking a toll on my body. Lost 10 pounds since days 1 been trying to gain back that weight. The walking be 15+ minutes just to get from the entrance to my work station. Too many people have their eyes peeled for everything you do even the wannabe managers looking hard. I got life goals that I'm working on to eventually leave that place.

from warehouse to OTR driver here. OTR is way more stressful than my old warehouse forklift job. the freeway driving is easy, everything else is not. maybe a local truck driving job is better but not OTR im considering going back to warehouse work and wait for local trucking jobs to open up and try that. no good local company is hiring right now. if you like manager type of stress, then go OTR. i hate it. always preplanning for something(groceries, showering, parking, laundry) and driving in unfamiliar areas can feel really weird. always worrying about low bridges and tight streets especially if you make a wrong turn near downtown areas. that level 10/10 stress

Thank you for this video brother, been working at warehouse jobs for too many years and i am sick of them now, been strongly considering getting a CDL license and being a personal trainer it is better to work for yourself and be your own boss and have your own schedule. Just found out also that the life expanctancy of a warehouse worker is 5-7 years, in Other words most of them are very stressful to your body and can have too many long term negative affects which could lead to an early death. Keep up the good work, shalawam!

Elevation is relative, and your experience is anecdotal. In my experience, which is also anecdotal but most likely is the general narrative, the ppl there are there to live and thats ok. Cdl is ok i got mine pulled flatbed, and truckers aint smart either 😂i can teach a monkey to drive a rig. Im now in hvac wayyy better, can build anytging at my home. Wont ever need a contractor to do renovations, life is good. Try an do flatbed its a skill and art securing loads and pays well and its a perfsct balance of lsbor
