This video inspired me to create a video about the great resignation. It took me about 6 months to create this on top of my full-time job, setting aside at least 4x of 1 hr workout per week, cooking healthy foods that take hours to prepare, rejecting so many night outs just to spend more time pursuing my passion while having so many people discourage me from creating meaningful videos online like this channel. As you can tell, personal development isn’t a joke because there are so many sacrifices to be made, which are often uncomfortable but knowing that there are also so many like-minded individuals who have passion for becoming a better version of themselves each day and who are willing to show support makes me more motivated to keep pursuing my passion for creativity and intense desire to provide as much value as I could. When I was a kid, all I wanted was to have a career that pays well so I can buy whatever I want but now that I’m grown up and went through tons of setbacks from losing tons of people in my life, getting lost in the world with full of life traps, being ridiculed for pursuing my dreams, having so many people tell me that I’m merely wasting my time creating a meaningful content online, and so on, I can say that long-lasting happiness can’t be bought or earned because it comes from within us

I like John Wooden's definition of success. It's the peace of mind that comes from the self satisfaction in knowing you are doing the best to become the best that you are capable of becoming. I agree with you. Happiness comes and goes, and is often dependent on external favorable situations, but peace of mind, outlook, attitude...it's a choice that truly does come from within. I wish you continued self-satisfaction and success on your personal journey. It won't always be happy, but I hope you are continually surrounded by loved ones --and daily opportunities to love, to balance and get through the not-so-happy moments ✌️

So, the base salary was $100,000, and if you worked 80 hours a week, you could make $140,000. Trust me, it's not worth it. But, the server logged time, so, we could find all kinds of reports. The first, was proof, that such a system, was sexist. Everyone working extra, fell into bands. But, the most interesting band, is perhaps 60%, will not work 1 minute over 37 hours a week, if the bonus is less then your normal rate. And that band, needs to leave, because the ones working more, are competing for the next promotion, which no one on the team, actually got. (they hired someone else).

That is a tough job and you can't just tell people off as he says or you lose your job, lol. You have to stand in a small box all day while your legs go numb and put up with everyone and their bad day coming through - 300-400 people in a shift all with different emotions looking at you to hurry up and not screw up, most of the time not even thanking you. You have to manage cash which is checked at the end of each day so if you're out you're in trouble from management (less cash these days). If you double scan something or put in the wrong produce code (there are no pictures like on 'self checkouts for dummies), people come back and get mad at you because you took time out of their precious day.

I find it surprising that a Conservative ideologue like Jordan Peterson would provide such an honest and scathing criticism of the workplace, because by doing so, he is criticizing Capitalism as a whole. Why? Because the job you hate is basically everyone's job, and the tyrannical boss that is killing your soul is basically everyone's boss. PS: If you are going to quit, do it with grace. Even if your boss has been odious and evil, he can still ruin your life because he has authority and you don't. When moving to a new job, old bosses retain the power to damage your career by providing negative references about you, meaning that they effectively have the power to exclude you from the workforce, sometimes for good. Powerful people have this ability, and we are kidding ourselves if we pretend that they don't.

The chuckling that chirps loudest get fed first. That's why schools are a waste of time. Forcing conformity makes more Nihilists than Believers.

Yes, change that shitty job. Work shouldn't make you feel miserable, it should give you worth and dignity instead.. You know you're good when you're happy with your job, you feel productive, useful, and you have time for yourself too, having that balance is key for happiness. Also, I advice you don't use white words on a dark background cause that makes the eyes hurt after 😵

Where is the logic to quit your job now? Say everyone does quit, where does that leave production? No one gets, what is produced? Say everyone quits their job, I am sure it isn't to get another job is it? Say everyone quits their job, How do they eat? Have shelter? maintain clothed? Say everyone quits their job, was it to start their own business? Who gets the business if everyone is in business for themselves? Say everyone quits their job, How does getting help to do work help? Who are you fake smart people trying to fool. Certainly not the real smart people. Or am I the only real smart person on this planet?
