I absolutely agree with your message. I always think it all comes down to appropriateness. Like sure you can buy and enjoy whatever you like if you have the money, but still wear them with awareness. There are many situations where logos and brandings are not necessary and will come off as obnoxious.

I feel like, you can wear expensive upper pieces like shirts, hoodies, crewnecks etc, without having expensive pants. As long as the pants are good quality, there is no reason to have really expensive bottoms.
