example: well I never liked Darko Milicic when he played. But after one interview to local news and speaking to one mutual friend I changed my mind. In short: His parents were obsest with money that NBA was paying and they rushed him to NBA killing all the joy plus he didnt have support in the team being so young. He tried to find joy in alcohol. Now he is farmer (mostly apple orchards) and he speaks with so much joy about apples and fishing that you will never think he had other career.

Your example about the gifted kids being disadvantaged because they were told that they are special is sometimes true but sometimes not. Couple months late to this video but as a Blazer fan who lives in Portland I just want to say that there’s a really good chance that Ayton couldn’t have gotten out of his home. It basically snowed for 2 days, warmed up enough to rain for a few hours which turned the snow to slush, and then dropped into the high 10s low 20s. Basically anything that was uncovered was covered in super slick ice with ice rain coming down hard. I had to walk in it to my car to grab something during it and I barely made it, I had to crack ice and find spots where pieces of salt had been left. And idk exactly where Ayton lives but most Blazers live in the hills above downtown which are incredibly steep and dangerous to drive on when it’s dry out but basically a death trap when it’s icey, or he lives in an adjacent town which means he’d have to drive on the highways to get to the stadium even if he was able to get out of his house and let me tell you what the Portland Department of Transportation is very slow to respond to this kind of stuff so that’s not exactly safe either.

Ayton could really use a shift in mentality/approach to the game and his career, and help/advice with his PR, identifying as your contract amount is not a good look. If he did continue to improve it would certainly help on the overall opinion of him, at least show that he's working to live up to the potential that he supposedly has. Why is Mike Conley seemingly always a good example of all that is right about a player in the league? Good example and good on Embiid for taking (constructive) criticism and using it to get better. Also good on Chuck and Moses for working together for the betterment of the game. I like the call to action of self reflection concerning this same concept/idea for all of us, the viewers (and yourself), and seek to apply a good/right attitude to our lives. Always like and appreciate your intentionality to incorporate this kind of stuff into your videos. Like I've said before, come for the hoops vid, stay for the helpful life-bites. For anyone who is trying to defend him check how many free throws he is averaging this season. It will tell you all you need. Portland got a complete bust and should trade him while he has any value. His attitude is horrible as well.
@Tramp-dm5xr8 ай бұрын
way I see it as well. Routin for him tho, but that weak mentality & low skillset is killin it. Also stands flat-footed in the paint while guys go at/by him all night, ez buckets He should get assists.

You had a valid video up until u said players like Luol deng get paid and stopped trying as much bc they were getting paid more than most other players in the nba. Maybe some other players are like that but saying that about a guy like luol deng is crazy. Bro was already in his 30s and going thru injuries but the lakers being an idiot decided to pay deng all that money

@@whatslaps Talking about how embiid has imrpoved his play when it matters, and that he no longer backs down from big moments. that’s all he’s done in the playoffs in the last 6 years. im tired of this injury excuse or no teammates excuse. hes had all time help year after year and could never get out of the second round. And the way he endangers other players and prays for a whistle every time he touches the ball. its incredible. robbed an MVP from jokic by pulling the race card. Absolutely hate Embiid
