As Vic the Brick stated in one broadcast about 30 years ago, CLIPPERS can be rearranged to spell C-R-I-P-P-L-E-S. It's when guys like Manning and Harper were going down with ACL's. I hate the state of the team but signing Kawhi and George put the team in the conversation for the finals when the signing and PG trade was made and in a pre-season or two since. Lob City wasn't really a realistic championship team with the Warriors in their heyday so just being considered one of the realistic favorites at any time, seems like a win considering their history. But, back to my original Vic the Brick line, they need to change the name/brand to something more LA. "Cripples" isn't good. Moving into the new arena is a perfect time for a new name. There's zero good tradition/memories with that name, so why not? BTW, great vid!

Lakers are fare more terrible of late. They only got saved because Lebron decided to go there . Clippers have been much better , at least league standing wise, than Lakers of late. Thier organization is also more ruthelessly run and they don't wait for ages to make changes.
