I agree, overall headshot percentage isn't worth worrying about. the real underrated stat is map win percentage or attack round win percentage vs defense round win percentage. you do have to have a high sample size for these stats to be useful but if you do, then you can identify clear weaknesses. i saw that I have low win percentage on icebox. i struggle on both attack and defense. I also have similarly low win percentage on fracture, but its mainly due to losing heavily on defense not at all on attack. Now I can specifically look up how my main agent is played by pros on fracture defense to get an idea of how to play it properly. and i can pay closer attention to fracture/icebox vods & make sure to review every single game i play on those maps, not just the close games so i can figure out what i'm struggling with more clearly. also saw that my classic/ghost headshot percentage were higher than better players, who find more opportunities to right click with classic or spam ghost at closer ranges/through smokes.

Yup. But even after 50 games on each map, I don't feel like it's a truly sufficient sample size. Sure, with 50+ games on each map, it will probably be a good indicator of how well you perform on each map, but it still won't be anything DEFINITIVE, this is UNLESS you actually take the correct approach in EVERY one of your games, as you may be creating exceptions as to which games may truly indicate how well your actually can perform on said maps. For example, if you are 5-stacking and having fun with friends, or if you are filling agents that you aren't familiar with, or if you are playing tilted, you're tolling, being toxic, or you might just not be giving it 100% in each and every one of your games. These things WILL ulimately determine your overall Win%, and while your Win% may be lower as a result of these factors, it will become harder to IDENTIFY whether it is those "basic" factors mostly at fault, or whether it might be something much more closely related to your actual gameplay. This is why it is extremely important that you firstly develop these good simple habits, so that you can "isolate" the possibilities to only the most relevant-to-gameplay problems, and so that your Win% will not be influenced by "external" factors like the ones I've listed. Only then, will you be able to trust your Win% the most, and actually use it as a decent "guide" to which maps/sides you should be focusing your improvement on the most. I see a lot of low/mid elo players just mindlessly grinding away, and not getting anywhere. This is often because they completely lack those good habits, and as a result aren't able to recognise any reasons for them being hardstuck. This doesn't really apply to every tracker statistic, because some stats may be more directly linked to your winrate and may be harder to influence them with external things. Instead, direct gameplay factors may be much more relevant, such as your playstyle, playbook, the agents you play, etc. But ultimately it all comes back to your winrate and how well you are able to play on each map.

One of the big factors for lower HS rate is OP use too, you focus body shots on purpose with OP so ofc headshot is lower

Tbh stats dont matter as a controller I dont care about my kd ratio but I focus mostly on smoking sites correctly during execution or delaying the attackers to rush into site on defense

I am not joking - I used to have this problem in high school with league of legends (before the replay system). I would prop a video camera up on some books and point it at my monitor to record. I will not turn down a VOD from you in my server even if it's from your phone pointed at your monitor to keep your game from lagging.

I think the most important thing in ranking up is: playing competitive often, maining a duelist and intentionally working with your team. Lastly, if your team is stomping, change your playstyle to get more kills.

Interested in what you think of an update to this video with Tracker score, since its intended goal is to score you relative to the rank you play in? Obviously stats aren’t everything, my win % is S rank despite having mediocre stats elsewhere on the board and mostly doing solo queue, but I’m interested in your opinion.

So stats dont matter, does that include KAST score? ive generally found players with his KAST scores to be better and/or likely to climb higher. is this just selective bias? I feel like its been a good metric to see if you are helping the team or not

My general stats have gone slightly down this act (except winrate), but I feel like I'm having a lot more impact on my games. Before this, I always looked at my stats constantly and based my mood on them lol, but that's changed now, and I feel like I get less sad for each loss and stat drop.
