Very interesting. I’ve heard many “explanations “ of this phenomenon. I have the one I believe but I often wonder if we’re not explaining the same thing in ways that different individuals are capable of understanding. The truth may well be beyond our comprehension.

Thank you, glad you found it interesting! I think your reflection is true. It seems we are often circumambulating certain phenomena from different perspectives which, hopefully in the long run, leads to a fuller understanding of them.

Until you stop calling unconscious, unconscious, it will direct your life... From a psychological pov, this is quite interesting. But from a logical pov, this is bogus. All these synchronicities examples are nothing but wishes and dreams. You dream of a butterfly, you wake up, go to work and a butterfly land on your shoulder? This is magic! ... Ok, but what about the thousands of dreams you had that didn't led to anything significant? Human beings seek meaning. And when the world fail to provide us with some, we invent it.

I don't think quantum physics apply to the examination of the human psyche.

I actually think there are plenty of parallels worth exploring. There are prominent physicists, such as Roger Penrose, who have made the connection between consciousness and quantum mechanics.

@@archetypalwisdom Consciousness is the perception of existing reality, not the accessing of the unconscious through dreaming. Quantum physics pertains to materiality as well. I think you need to revisit the concept of synchronicity, which is the contemporaneous manifestation of events in reality, in our material world. They have nothing to do with anyone's un/subconscious

@@rightsaidfred8945 That's an interesting distinction. The unconscious becomes part of what is conscious once it is explored. Also, as I stated in my video, quantum mechanics is not proof of the concept of synchronicity. While it deals with the observation of particles, I felt the parallels were interesting to explore. That being said, the concept of synchronicity was coined by Carl Jung. This was from his observation of people's inner world being strangely mirrored in external reality. The entire concept was born out of the contemplation on the relationship between an individual's inner being (which includes what is conscious and unconscious) and their experience of physical reality.
