Why does Jaxon think it's stupid that Madonna is on this list. You do know being a good artist usually entails having longevity that allows you to be chart toppers in various decades. Beyonce is technically a 90s artist as Destiny's Child first breakthrough hits were in 1997, but here she is today, still making music and still being relevant. Metallica, Madonna, U2, Timbaland etc are all musicians my parents listened to in the 80s/90s and who were all still releasing music by the time I was growing up in the 2000s.

I have a totally different opinion. If swearwords are bad, they're equally bad when the young or the old, men or women, supervisors or employees use them. Especially if someone is using swearwords in a conversation/argument with me, I can 100% use them back. Also, the belief that parents are simply superior because, Idk, "that's the way it is"/"because I say so" is harmful to their children future selves. That way they are taught submissiveness and quiet bitterness even in situations they should stand for their rights and well-being in relationships and workplace. Not to mention how humiliating it is in front of the camera. Imagine being a teacher, a CEO, a priest, a police officer, a soldier, a politician etc. and having something like this on yourself on the internet forever - your mom literally showing with her hands that you are inferior just because. I didn't. I mean, being born in 77, I heard 60s and 70s music on the radio when I was a kid, but I'm not familiar with artist/band/album/song names of anything before like 1980. When I was in high school I was only listening to new music (90s). So it's not just kids nowadays, I think most people are primarily into the music that was new when they were kids and teens and young twenties.

@@randombotdude2083 Papa Roach and Three Days Grace became household names in 2000s not the 1990s. "Last Resort" by Papa Roach was the bands first single which came out in late 2000 and Three Day's Grace's first single "I Hate Everything about you" was released in 2003.
