I dropped my pen under the table at Comic Con when I was in the meet and greet line to see him. James bent down, literally went under the table and came back up with my pen and said "Here you are, love". I died. He's as charming and cool as you think.

Got the scotch knowledge wrong though. Both single malt and blended scotch exists and scotch very much means from Scotland
@Lowlandlord

@@bigman9854 Well, Scotch does, scotch means something else, it's a false friend with Scotch. A scotched Scotch would be a smashed (physically beaten) Scottish person. Pretty far from ideal, but interesting words. Oh, I think we can say that in Split the Scotch scotched people?😅

The origins of sticky toffee pudding are disputed. Owners of several pubs, including the Gait Inn in Millington, East Riding of Yorkshire (claimed to 1907) and the Udny Arms Hotel in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire (1960s), claim to have invented it.

Sticky toffee pudding could be Scottish- The Udny Arms Hotel in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire, is often cited as another possible birthplace of the dessert. The hotel's head chef, John Tovey, is said to have created his version of the pudding in the 1970s, which later gained popularity throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK.
